I am democrat from VA and John Warner was a very good senator. One of the few republicans I liked. However he is still a Republican and Virginia is slowly turn blue. You got Tim Kaine and Sen. Jim Webb. Warner's seat will be taken by ex. Gov. Mark Warner! This is his for the taking. I never thought I see a day where VA had two Democratic Senators!

Us neocons can't stand turncoats like John Warner, It was senators like him right before the '06 elections that went to the left wing media and started criticizing Bush's Iraq policy. I remember Warner lavishing praise on Hillary Clinton, I could not be happier that this Disgracful Senator is going to retire.
