oh my God!!!!!such a heart touching voice.especially from1:19 to 1:23.Noor jahan,A legend.I was suffering from insomnia(unable to sleep).One day my husband was listening to old ,black and white hindi movie songs.The first song he played was.................suhani raat dhal gaye and second song was this one by noor jahan awaaz de.I don,t know what happened but i slept.Till today its my routine to play some light music before I go to bed.Thank you Noor Jahan.Love you and your voice.

Give them a chance ! Was this movie made in the 80s, 90s ,or millennium ? Er .....no, it was the 40s. Compare them with other people around that time to be fair. This includes all other people connected with the making if the film also. Both of them not only acted, but actually sang the playback song too.

wow, the male singer and male actor are absolutely incompetent. they ruined the mood of the song. be dard aasmaan hai is a line of the century and he doesn't even move while mumbling it you need to look at the sky with hurtful eyes! listen to this song sung live by noor jahan if you want to know how great this song is. it was a concert arranged for the hospital imran khan made i think.
