I like old movies but that explosoin in that first part im sorry that just wouldnt happen also really bad acting atleast in smokey and the bandit they have good actors
actually there is a switch on the dash for your 5th wheel slide, and it will drop your trailer and 5th wheel together...but if that happens you're gonna be losing alot of air pressure, come on driver you should know that. If the KW is turned up it sure enough will stay with anything. Hollywood does stretch things out too much though 10-4...love the old rigs in this movie..nothing like the old rigs, especially if they are COE's and have twin sticks. Grandad drove and old Pete 352 with a 5x4.
first of all that truck cant handle any turns with a sleeper that big, the trailer would grab and tear up the sleeper. and there is no button on the dash to release the trailer, there are no wheels on the standing legs of trucks, and there is no way that would happen, I hate hollywood. its so unrealistic. and a full size chevy 1/2 ton would not fit in that area on that truck, its impossible. it is too wide and too long to fit. and that black kw would never be able to compete with a 305 chevy
look at vw beetles, those cars swap before jumpin that roadblock. And Curtis truck has black driving wheel and somethimes is white. So many times i have seen this movie and this is best!

Forget about the acting, the truck is the star of the movie.
Just like the Fast And Furious moives that aren't about the actors it was about the cars.
But I think the guy who's driven' the Kenworth is a good actor in this movie.
