People, people, people... this ride is NOT safe. You must hang on for dear life. I could not enjoy it as all my concentration was focussed on staying on the deathtrap. Have no lives been lost to this beast? Someone earlier said this was built before H&S and that is right.... this is an accident waiting to happem, but it so old? How this is allowed to operate is simply beyond me.

Ahhhh the steeplechase. Brilliant fun. Not sure how long its going to be around though, I'm surprised the health and safety police haven't shut this one down :/ Probably the most dangerous ride I've ever been on. And that includes rides at fares owned by gypsies.

I had a scary experiance with this ride, i went on my own on this ride and i was fine until it came to the bit where it gose over the go kart track, when i was over that my seat belt broke and there was no one there to support me and i was nine at the time. but niw i love this ride!!!

its our favourite, it jerks you around a little

so i wouldnt recommend this to someone who has just eaten.

the green track(middle track) does not jerk you around as much as the side

tracks. but still, amazing ride& i really love it[;[;[;

Actually - it's no worse than the big carousel ("Derby Racers") which has no restraints, and goes pretty fast. That ride isn't very smooth either, my inner thighs come off bruised most of the time.

@xAkKyShiEeXD Well yes, when i went on this ride i was shocked by the power of it, it literally throws u round the bends and corners and i can tell u it's absoulutely certain you WOULD fall off if u had no seat belt, even if u held on. But, there are seatbelts, and they can be as tight as u need them. The ride has been thru security checks and is perfectly safe as long as you were the belt and hold on. :))

I went on this seven Years ago, and although it had seat belts you did not get assisted to fit them and by the time you found them the ride had started. So no belts! Yes very scary ride I side stepped the "Big one" to go on this and well the "Big one" is safer.

Oblivion is high, it is not high above ground but the drop is 180 feet pulling over 4 g. It might be 'boring' to you, but it would pull a sensation upon your face.

I went on this ride when I was about 12. I was quite small at the time, but must have passed any height restrictions...

I've been on lots of very intense rides in my life, I'm now 36 - but none scared me much as this. - If I'd have let go for a few seconds I would have fallen off. This is one helluva dangerous ride, I'm suprised it's still in operation.

You can be hands free on the vast majority of rides, but on this one, if you let go, it really is the end of the line. v dangerous.
