In the fall of 1964 I first heard the Sonics from nearby Tacoma Washington on The radio station KOL there in Seattle and radio KJR did,t have the balls to play them at first!we dig the band,but they really did sound like they just landed from the dark side of the moon! That,s what Tacoma was in those days, so go figure.Also the home of Neko Case and Bing Crosby.
