I thought my paying for PUBLIC TRANSIT was a steady stream of income..it's not enough since the prepay METROCARD they take money in advance and EARN INTEREST on it.
Not only that, but think of the significant number of transit cards that go unused or lost. It's like free money in the pockets of the MTA. Had this RETARDED plan - which had NOTHING to do with clean air or any of this other shit that Bloomberg claimed it was about - been passed, we'd still eventually hear more crap from the MTA about budget deficits and we'd eventually see ANOTHER undelayed fare increase. Thank the guys in Albany for not approving this plan.
Another added SOLUTiON..have busses stop every 5-10 blocks instead of 2. The gas it expels during the stop and go..is adding a huge amount to the air. Have people walk that extra two blocks to get to a stop..for hanidcap..they get stopped for no matter where they are..it's minimal the amount of handicapped.
We know why the Feds are so interested..it's the friggin HOMELAND testing New Yorkers to see ..if we are..oooo afraid. So we are a test group to see how much more we will bend over to have more privacy and freedom taken away. It's a double-screw....we pay them and they take our privacy and freedom to move about the streets "Freely".
Why are the Feds so interested in implementing this plan? They don't live here. They know nothing about Manhattanites..or the outer boroughs. Who killed the Electric Car? Why take more money and get no results? People are still going to HAVE to DRIVE into the city AND when that happens and we still have congestions, how do we REMOVE this system. They promised when they built the bridges..that the tolls would exist until the bridge would be paid off..now how do we get rid of it???
