finally thanks god!!! the people in USA will see the real and new face of my beautyful country colombia because this serie was 100% filmed in bogota by foxtelecolombia the first american serie filmed in latina america..colombia now has really change is a very safety place even more than mexico now,,and this is the reality is not like the hollywood movies that show bogota as a fuking jungle.colombia is the based in latin america for sony and fox..they gonna start filming more series here..

This is a great show! Mental Illness is a huge issue in America....this is the kind of show that will give them hope...and maybe even change the ridiculous way so many psych doctors treat the patients. I don't expect you to understand unless you yourself have problems, or have a close friend or family member that has a mental illness. I hope the show stays!
This show is horrible. I work as an RN in acute psychiatry and this is not an accurate portrayal of mental illness for treat in a healthcare facility. This opening scene alone just fuels stigma that all schizophrenic people are delusional and violent. Further, later on in the episode the patient "detoxed" off of his antipsychotics, a typical antipsychotic that is not used as a first line treatment anymore, and suddenly became a wonderful artist again.

This show does not give a true example of the illnesses involved. I HAVE a psychiatric illness and I AM a trainee mental health nurse so I know the illnesses inside out and this is not true example of mental health problem or a mental health facility! Everyone on youtube and off youtube that I know who has Psychiatric illnesses agrees with me.
Everyone except one, as of now. I completely agree, their portrayal is inaccurate. But this show is doing leaps and bounds to bring mental illness out of the closet and into the open. It's proving to the unenlightened that people with mental illnesses are just as human as anyone else. The main character provides an excellent example of how to respect patients with mental illness (well...with the exception of stripping. But that's obviously just for T.V. effect.)
