Awwwwwwwwww I had a female, and she lived to be a month shy of 16. I had to have her put down this past Nov. It was rough on me, I gotta tell you. She was the sweetest and smartest lil dog I ever owned. But she developed an enlarged heart (not really strange for her age) but it started pressing on her trachea and we doctored her for a few months with meds from the vet. BUT, the time finally came when I knew..........and SHE knew....... Bless you, Hon......... your dog is so adorable!
I have a jack russell too. He has pointed ears as well (like this dog) but most of the ones I see have floppy ears. Does this not make them a true jack russell. All I know is that he is a handful like like all of the ones I see.
@mikeirby1983 hi , our jack has pricked ears too" maybe bcoz of too much protein in the diet"but it doesnt mean their diffrnt,the only problem is that he cant be a show dog, he can only join agility, etc, but not a show dog. we really felt bad about the same problem as u are at first but, he's too intelligent and smart and adorable puppy that proves enough dat he's a true jack" ANd all Jacks has the same adorable eyes that'll melt ur heart away!! trust me" their eyes are so expressive!
