I have seen about 35 as well. Since that train was heading into Boise' they possibly were prepared to haul more freight from Boise to Nampa. It is exciting top see some branch line action. I try to catche this train switching around the Boise/Meridian area when I can. What do you think of that plan. I think it sounds good. Thank you for your comment on the video as well.
I saw INPR a couple of times out by the Boise mall, I could have sworn they were going faster than 25, but then again I could have been wrong. Thanks for the info.
Might have been an accidental speeding situation, at the mall the speed is actual 20 because of all the x-ings. Boise Valley has basically the same speeds.
My home town bro! Lol... It's funny that I often dirve 10 miles of where I live to catch UP main line action but do not video branch line action in my own town... LOL. I plan on catching more branch line action.
I think the Boise cut off is owned by the BVRR from the Nampa UP yard in Nampa to a point just south ease of Boise because of all the industry and UP owns the rest from that point SE of Boise to Orchard park junction to the UP main
nice video you got there.

INPR had a max speed of 25 all the years they had it, the high speeds were back during UP days.
