  • Good movie great song my fav rourshack

  • Song went perfect my fav was roorshack

  • Good movie...

  • I wonder: the chronic alcoholic superhero who was raping the lady superhero: did he die, too? that guy was an animal, tho the lady superhero had a great body.

  • @sageb1 He was The Comedian. The first one that gets killed in the movie.

  • this song is perfect for the movie, i love it♥

  • awesome

  • Its Friday Friday got to get down on Friday

  • @Allan9798 no

  • aaargh weeping angel

  • @flipdart quck! get the timy wimiy detector!

  • Is this slightly sped up?

  • Edward Blake, The Comedian, born 1918, buried in the rain. Murdered. Is that what happens to us? No time for friends?

Only our enemies leave roses. Violent lives ending violently...

  • I want a second movie!

  • @Pr3datorify No. This movie was based off of the entire comic series. It ended perfectly the way it did, and a sequel would just suck because of the fact that there's no where to begin. Let's just leave this masterpiece alone.

  • @damncritics i was actually talking about a 2nd movie from zack snyder xD cuz sucker punch wasnt that good IMO...

  • You can see the WTC in the back :(

  • @tsphilly98

you mean the guy with the sign? That's Rorschach

  • @anonfromebaumsworld I mean the World Trade Center...

  • @tsphilly98

    ok.... tehe

  • R.I.P. Rorshach. You were the only true hero that saw the world black & white.

"You see, Doctor, God didn't kill that little girl. Fate didn't butcher her and destiny didn't feed her to those dogs. If God saw what any of us did that night he didn't seem to mind. From then on I knew... God doesn't make the world this way. We do. " - Rorshach

  • @ApocalypsePrime I know! Why didn't Rorchach get a funeral? i mean they could of buried his hat or something at least!

  • better than sex

  • wonderful

  • I'm glad that cemetary sign is there. Otherwise I'd have thought it was the entrance to a coffee shop.

  • @subfighter316 hahahahahaha! I see what you did there.

  • 10 Guys never heard the sound of silence.

  • if the rapture does come i want to go out listening to this song.

  • 0:07 holy sh** WEEPING ANGEL. DON'T BLINK!!!!!!!

  • @lkrnpk wow i never saw that nice find

  • @lkrnpk yay!!!! go doctor who!

  • @lkrnpk BLINK AND YOU ARE DEAD!

  • i love this movie.....alot of great scenes ...

  • Best scene from WATCHMEN !!!

  • Great video good job

  • does anybody know what's the name of that statue? :)

  • zdecydowanie jeden z najbardziej niedocenianych filmów..

  • This film is totally underrated.

  • What a great movie. The book is much better, yet they did an exceptional job in putting it to the big screen for 90% of the movie. I don't think it was necessary to change the ending so dramatically, but I enjoyed this film nonetheless.

  • @hivesteel

I think actually the movie version makes more sense- why go to all the trouble to make a weird something when Veidt can much more easily manipulate Jon into doing his bidding and then getting out of the way?

  • @Sephirius Because of the very deep moral implications of his actions. The entire book is about doing the right thing, and each characters interpretation of this. Also Jon is quite unpredictable and could easily crush Veidt so he wouldn't take the risk.

Finally, it's not like Jon is a uninvolved third party in the novel. How do you think Russians would react when faced with the fact that the Americans lost an ally-practically a god- which then nuked every major city on the planet,

  • @hivesteel at this point though Jon lost all emotional ties with mankind so he wouldn't give a damn about what people say about him. And when you blame Jon for the destruction of all major cities on the planet, its like blaming god, he will always be there as a threat to every living thing on Earth. Where as a giant alien/ interdimensional being could have been a freak accident and a one time deal.

  • Killing billions of people in the process; clearly the american media would have some sort of blame.

    *spoiler alert*

It would generally be safer, for the sake of peace, to involve an unrelated alien in the process than to involve an ex-american who nuked the entire world because he was mad AT the americans.

  • I need to see this movie again. I loved it at first but was exhausted by the end and couldn't enjoy it. I'm sure if I saw it again, I'd like it more. Also, anything with a soundtrack like this (which I actually own now) has to be great.

  • One of man's best movies ever.If u think it sucks shut the fuck up and dont watch it because gay people like you rather watch movies like gnomeo and juliet and the avatar the last airbender movie.

  • @Rocky13Ray you mean romeo ad juliet write?

  • @charliehenryrufus Yes n no. I'm talking about that cartoon movie that came out.with the lawn gnomes that one side is red n the other blue.ring a bell?

  • Best part of the movie.

  • "I heard a joke once. Man goes to the doctor. Says he's feeling depressed and alone in a cruel world. Says what lies ahead is vague and uncertain. Doctor says, "Treatment is simple. The great clown Pagliacci is in town. Go see him. That will pick you up." Man bursts into tears. "But doctor," he says, "I am Pagliacci." Great joke. Everyone laughs. Roll on snare drum. Curtains."-Rorshach

  • @CaptainAshSpearow I get it, but I don't get why it's a joke :L

  • @TheArcher101 its an ironic joke

  • @lexmark2300 Yeah but what's so funny about it I mean?

  • @TheArcher101 the irony :3

  • @TheArcher101

You have to watch the movie to get it... it's no real joke. it's some kind of evidence for the "comedien" who is burried in this scene

  • @CaptainAshSpearow that made me laugh out loud.

    thanks bro

  • @CaptainAshSpearow

essa piada o Rorschach conta para o medico

  • many years into the future, i can see people looking at this movie like how we look at one of shakespeare's plays today. it's just so poetic.

  • god i want to watch this so badly! i need to find it somewhere!

  • Haha. Owned

  • i always wonder why people who dont like something, type in the whole youtube address, search the damned videos pertaining to the thing they hate, then proceed to troll, leave retarded comments, and...what? feel better about themselves?

i spose they sleep well that night, since everyone is apparently entitled to their opinion haha

  • bad quality, motherfucker!

  • @ErnestoGarzonVillada then buy the dvd or blu ray and dont write bad comments

  • @liberta06 i have the dvd, motherfucker :P

  • @ErnestoGarzonVillada then put same video with good quality and dont watch watchmen videos in youtube with bad qualtiy =)

  • @liberta06 i mean the sound quality !

  • @ErnestoGarzonVillada then uplaod the same video with good sound quality !

  • look at these fucking idiots nerdy fans calling it best movie of 21st century gtfo cuz u know shit bout movies

  • @albokk And you are quite obviously the greatest critque of cinematography the world has ever seen.

  • I love this edition, with the drums, I can't find the full version of it though :(

  • @HjorturTheDawg I like this drum edit. I think I found it: Simon & Garfunkel - The Sounds of Silence - 45 RPM ORIGINAL HOT MONO MIX youtube.com/watch?v=155X0twGV08

  • @flashenoise Cool! I wish it were in better quality though

  • who sing this song i know the original is Simon&Grafunkel

  • @Teridax12 pls check out my previous comment in this thread.

  • Love it!! Tommel opp.

  • Anyone knows where the music is from? I know that it is The Sound of Silence but this remix has got drums. It is not the Atrocity one and I cannot find this remix anywhere else :(

  • @bamboozledbalderdash check out my previous comment in this thread

  • @bamboozledbalderdash Ever hear of Simon and Garfunkel?

  • The sound of grandpa

  • I believe

  • One of the best scenes in whole movie...

  • only thing i dislike about this scene are drums in song...it was perfect just as it was, didnt need to add anything

  • @WrathOfPhropet The drums are in the song normally dude

  • @TrixterEABockers no, they are not in original one

  • Good writing. Unfortunately its left wing paranoid propaganda.

  • I love how the World Trade Center appears in the background at 1:00 . Makes this brilliant scene even more powerful

  • this is the greatest movie of all times like V FOR VENDETTA

  • @rockysikander fuck yea,,2 unreal films

  • @turkyish bro why do you think like that just imagine what will happen if these imaginations of directors come true our world will be like heaven and

mark my words dreams can come true

  • this is just amazing, amazing soundtrack i mean bob dylan and simon and garfunkle also one of the best movies/graphic novels ive ever read/watched.

  • Realmente muito bom, essa música vai estar no meu velório e senão, no meu casamento. Se eu casar tbm né!? hgaha

  • AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAa

  • MT LOCO VEIO!!!!!

  • My dad was buried to this song. let him r.i.p.

  • @skHatIerM you're searching symphaty in youtube i take it? I can claim the same, my best friend was raped and killed and this song played in her funeral :( r.i.p

  • @Skibbaaa was that at all necessary?

  • @skHatIerM Sorry for your loss bud. Classic song choice. great movie scene too.

  • @skHatIerM So was my friend. RIP Fiona.

  • this should so much more films like this. that aren't about the action but more about the feel an the idea it's awesome :D

  • the film was amazing but i read the novel afterwards as i loved it. as is always the case, the novel is better but it made me appreciate the film more i think! so much detail!!

  • show de bola ......

  • I liked the novel better, but that movie was still pretty good. Also the sound of silence is bad ass. that is all.

  • I feel as though the movie as a whole did not have a great sound track. Not saying that the bands that preformed these songs were not great in their own way, it just did not fit the feel of the movie. In my honest opinion, although not in the era of the 80's Muse and The Smashing Pumpkins seemed to fit the feel of Watchmen more than Jimi Hendrix, Simon and Garfunkel, and others.

  • I don't know why there's a debate over this movie about whether it's good or not. It's genious, unlike most superhero movies it actually has a damn good and clever plot, and the characters are so life-like. This will is isn't good, it's god.

  • I can't help it. The damned Angel on the cemetery reminds me of Doctor Who.

  • @IcEye89 me too

  • Great story, Great book and a Great movie.

  • what a great scene, what a great song......

  • I loved this music

  • this is my favourite movie ! <3

  • I loved this movie! It was difficult for me to understand it tho but very good. So good, that i got a poster of the movie XD

  • @GuitarHeroFreaks100

The movie wasn't that hard to undertand compared to the lyrics in this song.

  • This is a really great scene from a really great adaptation of a really great book.

It seems weird that the song is cut off by Laurie vomiting, though.

  • Escena brigida , mas esta canciion de fondo...casi me pongo a llorar u.u

  • @nosmailliwydocbocaj I love Rorschach...~

  • i love this song.

  • the best movie ever...frekin roshaq is the best."your thumbs...my pleasure...........snap"

  • this film made me aware of this song - and I Was amazed by them both.

  • @KelliK69 Wow. that's sad. Not on your part, on th availability of great music to todays youth. Go get the best of to get started. all their songs are haunting.

  • i like how they have the trade center all throughout this film

  • best scene of the movie

  • My favorite movie.

  • I laughed at rosarachus joke

  • i dont know why, but this specific version of the song seems to be different from all the other i find? it sounds so much better!

every other vid i find (simon and garfunkel, yes) seems slower, or with voices that are not as clear and light as this :/

  • @amArant123 the pitch is higher on this one thats why

  • descanse en paz

  • watchmen is the greatest cinematic achievement of the 21st century so far.

  • @5secondfuse you mean, alien Pocahontas? Avatar is sooooooo original, right?

  • @Meeeaty watchmen sucked monkey shit

  • @ToxicGarbage16 Each to their own.

  • @Meeeaty I've just compared it to Chaplin. And that is a huge compliment.

  • @Meeeaty Hell no! Good movie, but certainly not that great. Both the graphic novel and the movie are great, but they're so damn overrated.

  • This Movie is awesome the first time i watched it nothing made sence Till the Second Time

  • Bassdude008 go suck your balls

  • This movie was powerful...really powerful, in so many ways: physical, mental, emotional, psychological.

  • this movie sucked balls

  • @bassdude008 obviously you are one of those people who cant stand a film with a talking scene over 2 minutes long, and prefer movies like G-force, Watchmen was one of the greatest literary works of the 20th century, and cant appricaite it, and if you think it sucked balls, why are you looking up videos of it?

  • @petrosapien, Well said Petrosapien. I dont understand the troll mentality - why do these people go looking up videos that they dont like - truly absurd behavior.

  • @petrosapien its called trollololololol

  • @petrosapien Yeah, really need to see more work like this. Movies these days are killing the definition of a good movie. Watchmen was a great step in that direction. Comic-based movies need to step up their game, and not downgrade for the ""general"" audience. But seriously, Twilight Saga WTF! The Social Network WTH! Justin Bieber Movie ARE YOU KIDDING ME?! Y-The Last Man; is an awesome series BTW. Turn off Heroes and go read it PEOPLE!!

  • @petrosapien, i love the movie but.. people do like different shit, beleive me its true, ik songs, public figures, that people dislike very much, but idk y

  • @petrosapien preach

  • @petrosapien i enjoyed the movie but i havnt read the comics, and a lot of watchmen fans say the comic was wayyyyy better

  • Can anybody tell me what this movie is actually about? The comedian guy gets thrown from his apartment right? Is it the really smart guy that kills him?

  • @4waynosespray yes! it was the smart guy who killed him.

  • They should have edited it so the line "and the people bowed and prayed to the neon god they made" was also played during this scene.

  • When she teleports at the end she's wearing the same outfit that Captain Kirk did in Star Trek movies 2-4.

  • dude i loved the comedian he was such an asshole and that made his character better

  • This movie was superb.

  • THIS is CINEMA !!!

  • this movie had a great soundtrack...

  • FUCK U COMEDIAN!!.....SO LONG Rorschach R.I.P

  • Sound of Silence suited perfectly for that scene. Damn good sountrack.

  • es la prinmera vez que escucho esta cancion y me encanto. es la mejor felicidades. simon & Garfunkel

  • I have got to see this movie, i only read part of the graphic novel, but even that was cool.

  • @MagsTheMusicLover117 I saw it, was pretty good, but not your typical American Hero "Superman or Spiderman" Action Hero movie.

  • @keijimuto yeah, i rather more like action movies such as this or like v for vendetta. Like superman and spiderman are alright, but superhero/action movies like this are my favorite :)

  • esta esena de la pelicula se me hace muy muy muy triste , la imagen del angel trizte ala entrada del cementerio y el cortejo funebre es realmente una esena bien echa que te estremese y te hace recordar algun funeral de un ser querido

  • wt a tune

  • warum kann man das nich einbetten =(

  • Should be played at all funerals.

  • @SCHRUBBE1966

Well I don´t think so, because the song has nothing to do with the dead. It´s a great song anyway, but just not for funerals.

  • @kefail

Sorry, I didn´t understand what you just wrote to me. Could you please translate it into english?

  • @kefail totalmente de acuerdo contigo

  • muy grande esta escena!!

  • I absoloutely adored Eddie (In the film and the graphic novel). I cried when I saw this.

  • PIĘKNE!!!5*****

  • I w plamie światła ujrzałem

    piekne....

  • One of the best scenes in the film Watchmen, touching and Power, Zack Snyder Best

  • Perfect.

  • personally they used this song perfectly in The Graduate

  • This is at a different tuning. I thought the original tuning was better. But the scene was good!

  • Dude, its sped up

  • It's such a beautiful song, and really worked with the movie
