  • I have been in fog so dense I could not see 100ft.

  • CAT IIIC does exist but you will never really see it. RVR 0? I take care of RVR equipment and have never seen RVR 0 except in testing.

  • As people said before me, CAT IIIC doesn't exist, or at least not in practise, it means the RVR = 0 and you have to auto-taxi because you can't even see the directions on the signs.

  • Why can't people manage to put FS somewhere in the title?

You know, like the RC people manage to do, who maintain some honesty and credibility.

  • where are the pilots? locked in the bathroom?

  • Man, why can't you FSXers indicate it in your title? You waste my time. Plus, FlightSafety this isn't.

  • It's Approaches like this that Pilots Really Need Faith In Their Instruments! Good Job Excellent Graphics. What specs?

  • NICE ONE MAN! you were lucky to have a Dual land, landing in this condition without it, you need some high flying skills.

  • KLM or Federal Express... or what airline or cargo

  • Nice Video

  • who else hates the annoying callouts of the md11?

  • ILS - big deal ;/

  • scary stuff. I love it. 50 flap landing why did you use?

  • Change your title, ILS CAT IIIC (no decision height and it has auto taxi) doesnt exist. Great Video though!!!!

  • the CAT of approach is the type of approach the aircraft is doing you can do a CATIIIC approach in clear weather

  • CATIIIC means RVR 0...

  • @TubbyToast1991 use the yellow know under your thumb at the yoke. In the sim you have to set a shortcut for this in the menu...for the md-11 a must have!

  • great video!!!, is your "copilot" who repeads the flap config an addon? or does the pmdg md11 contains that?

  • @TCAS330 its FS2CREW. Check google for it.

  • @shep2k7 great thank´s

  • wait how could you touch down without even seeing the runway environment first? Its in the FAR/AIM go look:P you need to see at least 3 of em ((haha sorry I just passed my 3rd progcheck on instrument, the one that has to do with approaches n stuff so I'm a tad picky haha, nice vid tho)

  • @sahandmojab Cat III c approaches have 0/0 minimas.

  • wipers going crazy :S

  • I wish I could fly a PMDG. I wish my computer would run nice while using a PMDG.

  • ....this is cat3b

    rvr 100m means that

  • Niice. Whats your VideoCard?

  • you're on your way kid :)

  • wow you are good!

  • Nice vid buddy! 5stars. Whats an RVR?

  • Thanks, Runway Visual Range.

  • RVR = runway visual range.

  • I started when I was 14, and seriously got into simming about 4-5 months ago.

  • @matz951 I really want to go to those Training Simulators where you sit in a cockpit

  • cooool :)

    I love PMDG and MD11 <3

    excellent grafics :D

    where it's?

  • Its at KSFO

  • Interesting.

  • matz, is the Cat III Autoland activated from the begining of the vid through the whole time your in hte air, or did you activate it at a differnt time?

  • @ 1:43 I pressed the APP/LAND button on the MCP which initiates the autoland.

  • ok thanks. Btw do you use ATC when you fly like in this vid ?

  • I didn't use it in this vid, but I do use Vatsim when I fly.

  • great video! I'm getting my hands on a PMDG MD-11, I can't wait! I've already downloaded all the manuals and stuff and read throught them a couple times, I think i'm ready lol!

  • lol cool

  • lol :p

  • :D I got it up to 3.7GHz :) its 100% better than the 9550

  • ur retarted learn your facts before you leave a comment idiot

  • lol I just received my Phenom X4 II 920 in the mail yesterday :D

  • Future Real World pilot?

  • I'm currently not a pilot I'm only 15 lol but I'm going to become one ;)

  • Well i know ive read other comments im 14 but 27 on my page and Im gonna fix the airplanes

  • Oh I thought you were really 27 because it said that you were a Aerospace Mechanic on your channel.

  • I wish no more HS

  • Me to I just wanna fly already :(

  • Actually there was no minimums call out (RA was set to 0) because this was a CAT III C approach which has no Decision Height, look it up on Wiki.

  • wooow amazinggg

  • Thanks :)

  • I'm 15 to :p well I had to adjust my CPU voltage to 1.40 and everything is stable.

  • Wow.... looks like we both are PMDG fans!!! haha.

Btw.. how did you make the rains splatter on your windscreen????

    Teach me how!!!!!

    Thanks!

  • Yup I only like to fly the most realistic aircraft, to get the rain on the wind shield you have to adjust the rain setting's to heavy rain.
