I don't have much respect anymore for GE. Not only did they avoid corporate taxes, but they are hiring customer service suckers to work from their home part time and you get to cover all of the expenses. which means they don't cover your rent, electricity, or even your phone bill or internet services, yet you are supposed to provide this, as if you are made of money, and have plenty to throw away like GE does! The flying car has been around for decades though not in production. Do a Widipedia searchfor flying cars or "Aerocar". "Aerocar International's Aerocar (often called the Taylor Aerocar) was an American roadable aircraft, designed and built by Moulton Taylor in Longview, Washington, in 1949. Although six examples were built, the Aerocar never entered production". I have personally seen these cars and talked to Mr Taylor at his warehouse in Longview.

The Wide-wing aircraft aren't THAT new if you consider we've only had airplanes for about 107 years. Just a while ago I read a book made in 1999 stating that this would take over the major industries. It also said that only rockets and military would fly to space but there is the Virgin Galactic thing going on along with the fact that if you pay enough you can fly on shuttles with maybe Russia or China.

In terms of commercial aviation, I would love to see much quieter aircraft.

GE should probably research on versatile aircraft for personal use. Vehicles that can be driven on the street and fly.
