I don't get why people hate Suzaku. He wants to change Britannia from within? Fine, an admirable goal that doesn't involve the wholesale destruction via terrorism. He says he wants to protect people by becoming a soldier? He does. Many soldiers in real life join the army because there's something they want to protect, and in his case he's an amazing soldier who can end a battle really quickly (therby saving the lives of his comrades and others who who would've perished otherwise)

If so, Lelou was seeking Zero Requiem. In such, he sought to turn against the world and cause it to hate him. By having the world hate him, they were able to unite against him, focusing it's hatred on a single point. Lelou needed to cause destruction and terror to have the people of the world hate him.

In season 1, he planned to overthrow Area 11 via terrorism, then, once he was in charge, arrange a meeting between himself and the Emporer, at which point he would Geass him into handing over Britannia. For most of Season 2, he was building up an army and sought to take on Britannia directly.

Depends on both the geass and the sharingan. If its Lelouch's geass vs Itachi's Mangekayo then Lelouch would get screwed so long as Itachi didn't look at his eyes. I don't think the nazi torturers deserved death, because at the time most of them honestly believed they were doing the right thing, or feared for their own lives should they quit. Propaganda is a powerful thing, and has an untold effect on the masses, it doesn't change whether they deserve death.

Also, from the POV or everyone but us. Bismark was in the RIGHT in this fight. Lelouch was being FAR worse than Charles ever was. Bismark also knew Charles' true goal. It was the opposite of racism.

I liked Suzaku from the start. Although he contradicted himself a lot, I could usually see where he was coming from and knew that he did have good intentions. However, for quite a bit of R2 I wasn't as fond towards him. He was just so... Different. And we didn't seem to see that much of him. Towards the end though he regained my respect. It's actually a pity that we didn't get very much time with Suzaku on Lelouch's side. I admit that I was rather unhappy with that sudden 1-month time skip.
