Son of the Bitch Fexin TK-70, Design this stupid Kick down power mode which only can last 5 sec only.
Why could this happen for Fenix TK70, Why got such stupid kick down 5 sec power down timer problem for TK-70 in Turbo Mode? Why "2200Lumen" can only hold for 5 sec & then later drop down to 1480Lumen.
From Top1 in list for 5 sec & then later drop down to Below Olight SR-92 standard. Why u want to do that stupid power down mode in 5 sec inside TK-70 & cheat us all? Why!!!
had my LD20 for just over a year now, use it every day sometimes for hours just swapin the batterys out and ive neaver really had any problems. Its been thru the washer and dryer in my pockets 4 or 5 times now along with all the other bumps, scrapes and "OMG Ive broke it" moments everyone has and its always perormed consistently.
Good point on the pocket clip btw. Id probs use it if you could put it on the opposite end of the torch.
I hate to be picky but if they're gonna put crenulated bezels on them for self-defence then 10cm is a bit too small for my hand and 15cm is a bit too long for my pocket. I don't get things like strobe mode either. I believe it's for cops with guns to freak out their suspects but does that actually work?
im packing a coleman performance led on my belt. the finish feels like powder. 3aaa's 18 bucks at walmart. o rings. strike bezel. but mainly to see if its on when i set it down. face down. it has a clicky switch on the tail. it has 90 lumens. but seems brighter than my 120 lumen led. it throws a beam far into the desert. saw a 140 lumen coleman at walmart a month ago for 26 or something. i dont have any other stores in the area for fenix or 4sevens.
i really hope to get a new light for christmas & i would love to get the LD10. i don't own a fenix light yet, but i do have a few on my list. thanks for sharing.
@NorwegianKnifeDude get your disco on or you can use it for like self defense because if your attacker or whoever, when there eyes are adjusted to night time or dark when you put a high power strobe in there face and can blind them for a few minutes and mess up there eye sight.
Great Vid Kat. I dig my LD20 but my outputs are different. I don't know if you ride a pushbike at all but you can also get a bike mount for these. Makes a real good bike like.
I also have the rad diffuser which always trips people out.
A great video Kat, one of the only videos that I have ever seen on flashlights that gave a proper review, by that I mean I now know what I need to know about each of these flashlights and what they can do. Great demo.
I've got the TK10... (Mine constantly roll off my rabbit cage roofs).
I wish they weren't made in China... It's been a pretty good light although it seems to burn through the 123 batteries pretty good.
I have to say, with the small size I hold the light in my mouth more than in my hands... which surprised me, cause I'm used to using much bigger torches.
i really want an ld20 cant seem to find one over here tho or purchas one onloine for less then about 80euro which is near 100 dollars and theres no way im paying that lol
Good review! The LD20 is my ATF EDC flashlight. Best bang for the buck AA battery tactical flashlight. Doubles as a nice 6" kubotan, for non-lethal evasions.
I have the ld20 and think it is a really good light for the money. It is almost the same size as a minimag, but so much more powerful. Save yourself the trouble and get rid of the sheath, mine wore out in about 2 months of use. I have the maxped 5 inch tube sheath, and although it is a little loose for the light, it works great. Good review as always, and keep up the good work.
I was thinking about picking up both of those with my FD points, but i opted out. But i had them in the cart several times, but removed them! Enjoy your holidays!
Excellent review!!! I like the smaller one the LD10 looks like a very solid edc. Thank you for taking the time to do a review!!!! Looks like you very a bit busy before the video. So i appriciate you taking the time!!!
love the fenix lights so far i have the tk10 lookin into gettin the ld20 for when the coats come off. looks like it will fin in the pocket nice. the tk10 is a little fat thing ok forthe winter to throw in the jacket but dont wee myself packin it aroun this spring and summer. so can you give me an idea since i'v never had my hands on an ld20, do you think it'll work well in the pocket with the clip??
great vid reveiw on these 2 fantastic flash lights, you must have some pull to get a whole empty auditorium to carry out your light reviews! =[]. cheers for posting Keep up the great work, best wishes and stay safe
