I have a real 909 and plan to burn it to an eprom for a 707 for a friend. Im impressed with your socket placement and want to copy. I don't mind sharing the kit for tips on the mod. I will read yahoo group, your description again and buy an eprom blower. curious about how to convert to binary.
PLEASE. I can´t register to Yahoo Grup beacause there is no administrator!. I need the files on the archives section of the group. Can you email me the files so I can make the mods!?. Thanks!!. puyutok @ gma i l . c o m
hmmmm - i'd keep the last eprom but its definately not a 909, i think someone mislabelled that kit as a 909 kit on hperreal or something. i'm jealous to death tho dude..... i'm a big fan of the 707, and being able to change kits to 808 & 909 boooyah, seriously man if you started doing this as a buisness venture you could make some top dollar, using the 707's brilliant design and seperate outputs& being able to change kits(imagine all the different drum machine eproms you could do)GENIUS
..must have been a factory fix..i did a reset and all sounds returned and diametric lube all mollex connectors, and reheated the patch..now i still have a light static in the machine..so i took apart and on lower board i see a small nick in what looks like the ground..my question is is that supposed to be there or do i need to patch that....or do you know where to get circut scedmatic for the roland tr707, thanks
hi my name is mike and i noticed you bent a drum machine, so i was wondering if you could help or point me in the right direction, , i opened it up and notice that a small crack on the top board had been patched (nice job) if you push in that area you can here the static come and go...funny ive owned it since new

This makes great sense given how great the sequencer on the 707 is but also it gives you the ability to make as many eproms as you wanted.
808 sounds super super hot but the 909 to me doesn't sound like a 909 set at all, is there a chance the sounds could have been misslabeled? I know of a real old set of 909 samples floating about on the net that cover the full sound spectrum that I can give you the link to if you need it.
HOW MUCH TO MAKE MINE INTO THIS?

808 was decent but that sounded nothing like a 909 - still impressive either way

Hi.
Sorry to bother you on this, but
I can´t register to the Roland 707 Yahoo Group, beacause there is no administrator, and I REALLY need the files on the files section of the Group.
I´m searching for someone kind who can download the files and email me those.
I´ll really thank that, so I can make de Swappable-eprom, decay, pitch modes on the 707.
I need to know how to burn the rom files on Eproms.
Thanks for ever!!.
