@jakewgard1 Well, there may not be more. YouTube is being very strict on this particular account, so I may be leaving for good soon enough. It seems as though Stephen Schwartz doesn't enjoy the free publicity for his show.
This is absolutely awesome. Is there any chance of us getting a vocals-removed instrumental of this recording in this key? I think I would worship you forever if you could do that.
@omglolwhatever I found a good, clearer recording of her from her first week as principle, so I think I'm gonna do that one too. The only nice thing about using a Broadway recording is that her voice is so much more clear and the recordings, for the most part, are a little less muddy.
@DefyingGravity767 I have done Stephanie J. Block, Idina Menzel, and Julia Murney. I'm gonna work on Shoshana, Caissie and Eden. Which one would you like to see first?
@mbod92395 Teal sounds pretty strange taken into a male key, haha, even with great audio quality. It's bizarre. She turns into some weird...man-like thing. Not quite a man, lol.
@BlazedHearts I disagree...it's funny because I always picture my tenor friend being the male version of Kerry, and well...this sounds basically like him. It's harder because this would be a countertenor/tenor singing the song without being able to replicate the male voice's specific timbre differences, particularly the tenor's distinctive ring. If I were to take this any lower, to say a baritone or low tenor, it wouldn't be clear enough to listen to.
@fobo1o It's all about timbre of voice. The more "piercing" or light and forward the singer's tone is, the more clear it will come out at a lower pitch, which is why Caissie Levy makes an amazing "tenor". I'll have to show you by doing one of hers at some point.
Wow, this is really cool! :D

I feel like this is what Julia Murney would sound like if she had less vibrato.

Use an audio of Kerry when she was a standby, her voice was deeper and manlier and more powerful so the pitch changes better.

Still not very manly, tbh.
Just listening to it, I can hear Kerry plain and simple. It just doesnt sound like a male voice, but nice try.
