@Gairlochan It has nothing to do with him not playing "fancy" licks. His feel is very loose and sloppy. He's not playing in a way that shows what this drum kit is capable of. Yes he's playing various styles throughout, but the tempos are sporadic and the fills seem awkward. Maybe this guy can throw down and he was having a bad day. Still, if I were a company looking to sell my product, I'd hire a better player.
Looks great, but sounds sux... Taking into account necessary of buying the Roland module as TD-12 or TD-20 the price fro this kit will be comparable with td-12 whole kit.
Nice drums. Too bad this guy sucks.
