That 3x4 option is just like the compact qwerty with prediction on HTC Sense! (Hero) I fly with that....Im choosing a new phone soon and Im glad you posted this so I know I'll still have that option if I get this amazing phone...

with the android keyboard i noticed that there was a little pic of a mic by the space bar if u touch that then can you do text to speech or somthing like that and how accurate is it could u maybe do a video on it or give me a link for one

i have a moto droid, obviously an android phone. that button is for voice to text. you touch it and speak into the phone and android actually uses googles voice recognition database online to figure out what you said. i use it all the time for my navigation stuff. you just touch the mic button and say "navigate to blah blah blah" and it will search google for that location. it works very very well and has rarely gotten what ive said wrong. =)

@RadBradH It is a very good phone. Fast and zippy and everything. The only problem ive had is having to download a .apk launcher on my computer to load on sideloaded apps. and the the hummingbird processor stalls for a little. but the att and guy said that would stop with the FroYo update coming in September.

Great vid man! Ive been watching numerous vids about this phone and none of them go into detail on keyboards like this one ESPECIALLY being it has sooo many options. Also this is the only vid ive seen where someone uses swype on the captivate! Good vid mate and you look like a pro with swype i hope to get that good on it when i buy mine! xD
