@juancho939 How very true. The F10 M5 doesn't sound nearly as good as the outgoing E60 M5. That V10 on full song was amazing. This V8TT sounds dull and soul-less. Its a joke that BMW had to pump a synthetic motor soundtrack inside the car to deliver the "full" experience. And turbo lag in an M car? Blaspheme.

BUT, turbos are now stroger than ever...that´s the reason why the V10 on the E60 is no more,and a smaller engine is modified in a way (the turbochargers) so that the performace is the same at all times, in a naturally aspirated engine, you lose power as the car gorws older. Clear example:a 135i...not even an M-Coupe,the 135i is a flat 6 twin turbocharged that develops 10+ torques than an M3!!! Also it beats the M3 in a quarter mile by like .03 secs

BMW have to use a down-sizing in their engines even in M models and somebody don't like it. It is not the same sound as V10 without turbo in previous M5 but is very nice too :)

the exhaust note sounds pretty loud and raunchy. so is the cabin so well insulated that it drowns out the exhaust note enough. That BMW decided they needed to stupidly needed to pump the exhaust note in to the cabin by playing the exhuast track through the stero system
