  • Hi WT That 78 Pinto was a real treat. Better then I had hoped for. You are in the similar situation in NY State right now - The Hudson Valley is just starting to come into its own. How good they will get is uncertain. They are both refining their style and expanding their area. Which make for a chance of picking a great one like the Carneros Creek bottle a possibility. part 1

  • Part 2 It is worth putting down a few reasonably priced bottle from a winery and vintage you like. In just a few years - you will be surprised.
