He's a beautiful bird! If he were physically sick, his head feathers would most likely be gone, too. I'm considering adopting a lesser, a feather plucker too, but it's a biiiig responsibility. Do you try putting the toys and perches outside of his cage, but within sight, for him to get used to before putting them inside?
@ankofae first: thank you for saying he's a beautiful bird! that makes me very happy to get a nice comment for once =D second: we used to but since this video he's gotten a lot better with toys and perches if he chews through the perch were able to just put it in there for him and he'll play with the toys. he may not sit on the perch for like a hour but he does get on it. before it took him like a couple of days to finally sit on the perch.

He was very close to her. Birds do that sometimes when they get depressed. He is very happy now but it's turned into a bad habit.

Any professional will tell you that birds need to sit on something, and need things to play with. I have a 12 year old U2 and he didn't like anyhting either, and now his cage is full of toys and perches. I can see that you spend a lot of times with Mikey, if you didn't he wouldn't be playing with you! I just think he should have toys to get used to
