Just flew on a 737-800 a few days, ago. Not first class though, didn't look worth the extra $100+. Especially not for a 2 hours flight.

For a 4 hour+ flight, I wouldn't mind it. Might be able to get to sleep unlike in coach.

alot of people in first class on short flights like thats are business travelers that got upgraded, i know because i am a platinum member and get upgraded quite often for free

All electronics must be turned off for takeoff. I think first class is not worth it on domestic flights. Really, you are not using your seat to sleep on like a hotel.

actually, its really not that great, lol. Especially on the 737-900...the first class seats squeak a lot for being such a new aircraft. Honestly, I think the first class seats on the previous models are a lot more comfortable too.
