With the book of Ezekiel (6th century BC) written after Exodus (1400 BC), indeed God has been more merciful. But Haitian society is still as deep in the practice of voodoo, if not worse and with their "renewed contract" with the devil in 1991, the earthquake was not surprising.

I would still be careful on what the cause is, as earthquakes do happen naturally however. Christians saying things were caused by God, later to find out a more natural cause, is probably one of the reasons people are lacking in faith. Whatever the cause and whatever they were doing, God will sort it out.

But I'm just saying that there is more to life than what the rational mind can detect, that goes beyond the pragmatic, physical and our 5 senses. The human being consists of the Tripartite Attributes of Human Wholeness, being Pneuma (Spirit), Psyche (Soul/Mind), and Soma (Body). The secular world discounts the foremost (Pneuma) putting emphasis strictly & only on the lesser two attributes. As a result a partial & fragmented reality is known & perceived.

Robertson sold CBN several years ago. the channel is now called ABC family. The family channel as it used to be known is now owned by Disney, and per an agreement is required to continue carrying the 700 Club and the so called CBN each day. When does that agreement run out? I don't know, but it was big news years ago, when it happened.

@yunggawd which man has the authority to write the bible like he's God? it's only God who can teach man because, man has no knowledge except that which was given from God. God wrote the Bible for the human conscience to follow, and human hands has tampered with the "real" bible texts and has rewritten it several times leaving certain parts out due to those wanting the real truth to remain hidden for their devilsh agendas. The no true Scotsman is not named for a Scotsman. It is named for a famous example where the end result is the claim that an individual is no true Scotsman. It is an example of moving the goal posts. If your god created logic, then it follows that you committing this fallacy is in disagreement with your god's laws. Did you know most practitioners of voodoo read the bible and worship Jesus as the son of god? By any reasonable definition of Christianity this makes them Christians.
