Iprep v008.6 dump flash xbox 360 Lite-on drive

Hello,. My question is: I have a xbox 360 but by mistake trying to flash the drive, I deleted the firm oringinal and I lost the key of the drive. x360key want to know if the drive needs to have the key or take it from the motherboard. ultimately I want to know is whether x360key will work with a drive that is (as we know it here) "badflash"

i think ur using the wrong one ur supposed to use f2 often times and in some cases u wud use f1 but its not really f8 f8 is for safe mode and other booting options like wat to do next or sumthin try either f2 or f1

wow... windows 98. Old school OS. Do you recommend using that or what Ive got is windows 7 7057. To me its really easy to recognize new ports and installing RAID, but Ive never seen any tutorials with people flashing on windows 7. Think I should change os to flash? or just stick with the same OS.

yeh u can use a usb cable from ck3 to usb rather than serial, but if u r using usb u would have to use jungle flasher as usb is not supported in DOS (iprep)

I checked robinhoodsplayground but nothing mentioned it.. worked it out...

dragged l-o-eras.exe from 1.5 iextreme folder into iprep'd usb device.

run l-o-eras b400 (twice) then cycled power off/ on

repeated lo-o-eras b400 twice and erase was successful.

went on to write litcfw from previous extraction using dosflash.

Hi, i followed this guide and it worked

no problem at all,

however when testing my ck3 and probe

with the same drive and i've messed it up.

when trying to rewrite the litcfw.bin file its getting stuck on erasing....

i can erase it using dosflash but it will not write the fw back onto the drive.

Any pointers?

well if it a lite-on drive you flashed

then you dont have a complete firmware.

with the lite-on its a one way trip

at this point there is not way to do a restore on it.

it can be the way your burning it cheack the .dvd file with notepad there will be a number open up imgburn and goto settings change the layer break to that number then burn the game at 2.4x if you that you games should work no probleam

i have another question ^^ i noticed in your benq flash tutorial that you have a separate power supply for the CK3. Does it need its own power supply or can i use one of the extra power cables to power my CK3 from inside my computer? Please get back to me i don't wanna short out my connectivity kit (CK3). ^^

1) If I use the Xtractor instead, how many wires will be connected to my 360 and computer? RS232 cable from Xtractor to PC, usb from Xtractor to PC, sata from DVD drive to sata in back of computer, and something from DVD drive to Xtractor for power?

2) How do I identify the COM ports that my Sata and RS232 cable use? Thanks so much!

Great tutorial! Will definitely use this when I get my lite-on in the coming weeks. One question though, when I flashed my BenQ drive I used nothing but a sata cable connected to my nForce mobo and the power of my 360. If I used the right com port and RAID controller would I be good to go with just that? Or would it be required that I have what you showed us? Thanks!
