IT does seem a little like sailor moon But completely different. I've never seen the anime but it looks close to the manga. Besides sailor moon it also reminds me of D.N. Angel a little. Because they both go after painting but Kaito Jeanne leaves a better painting in it's place and Dark/Daisuke Steal the painting and artifacts and leave nothing in return.
