Which implies that once this is complete, people will be given the opportunity to join the partnership program. But I do not mean to imply that people will just instantly be given partnership status.
I feel that YouTube Corporate (aka Google) needs to take a step back and look at what YouTube Users (aka all of us) want out of this site. In all, its not much. Its not like we have this huge list of demands, or want the site changed in any drastic ways. All we want is for it to be run is a fair, and equal way. If somebody breaks the rules, (regardless of who they are) they need to get their hand slapped.
I am not saying LisaNova should be permanently banned, I do not believe that would be at all fair. But something should be done to show that the rules will be enforced. I think the spamming issue MUST be addressed. Not only spams to peoples comments section, but also the friend invite spamming.
I feel the partnership program can be made to work, and I have faith that in the end, things will work out for the best. We just need to get over this hurdle that we seem to have come across.
And in case anybody from YouTube Corporate should happen to read this, I feel YouTube needs to come out and say what their intentions are, and how they plan on dealing with these items. They owe us that much.
Some of us who only view also have an opinion about the way things are going because whether we start filming ourselves is dependent on how we view YT.
Why would a corporation keep promoting the same .0001% of the quality video makers on here? And virtually ignore all the rest of the content? Why would a GooTube do that?

Why don't people get it? Lisanova was just using her popularity to advertise a video which cntained many youtube 'stars' by spamming.
By spamming, she was advertising this new video and also bringing awarenness to REAL spam, so she was doing two things at once.
