Goku first turned ssj2 when he fought majin vegeta

ssj3 gotenks is clearly stronger than ssj3 goku. goku expected ssj gotenks to beat fat boo making ssj gotenks stronger than majin vegeta or else gotenks ssj would lose. so that makes ssj gotenks stronger than ssj2 goku meaning ssj3 gotenks has to be stronger than goku ssj3. also super boo is stronger than kid boo. goku was afraid of fighting super boo and said if he and vegeta fought him they would be killed.

Plus Goku is still reluctant to go SSJ3. Even facing a stronger Buu he was reluctant to take the form at first. But the Kai planet being more durable... hell, he shot right through it and it survived. lol

@FutureGohanSSJ2 yeah true this is why the boo saga is the most confusing saga of all. i am still certain super boo is stronger than kid boo and most of the people on the dragonball forum agree with this statement and with the facts they used so i believe that is the answer. still this is why most arguments on the boo saga happen because it was not straight forward like the rest due to toriyama trying to make goku the hero at the end of the dragonball manga

@livestreamergod Fact is, the only time he's seen as a SSJ3 he's holding back. Fact is, when he says that from inside Buu he's bee drained ad weakened. Fact is, it really doesn't require mental gymnastics to put this together when you read the effing manga. Goku finally stops holding back and goes all out vs a version of Buu stated to be stronger... and LOSES. Puts up a fight, but still LOSES. In the end it took EVERYBODY to beat that thing.

Vegeta was able to turn Super Saiyan 2 before he was turned into Majin Vegeta, if he said he was stronger than Gohan by the World Tournament Saga and he never turned Super Saiyan 2 because he most likely never needed to. Also, Kabito even said he restored Gohan's power to what it was during the Cell Saga after Spopovich and Namu drained Gohan's power.
