A mathematical fractal is based on an equation that undergoes iteration, a form of feedback based on recursion. It's very interesting, you could do a lot of things with that. You can make beautiful pictures and music as well. You start with a simple equation and iterate infinitely. If you change the initial equation a little, the end result is totally different. You can call that the butterfly effect...

fractal is a adding fractional values over and over agian. If that value of the fraction is in length then adding a fraction to the number 1 is a fractal what you would see here. Basicly adding fractions on and on with some algorithm gives you this sort of wierd image that seems to be coherent.
