Why don't you try half-life uplink extended ? it's better, you can kill the gargantua without cheats because you can climb with boxes (in normal uplink they aren't there so it is inreachable) that place were the gman and security guard appears and there's a rocketlauncher. And next there's a small room where you activate an elevator (the best elevator model i've ever seen) and escape.

There was an opengl dll hack that added lightbloom, but Valve banned it because they don't tolerate any hacks, regardless of purpose.

if you have the PS2 version you can go to extras and it with ask you to open the disc tray and it will ask you to open the disk tray and put in the Playstation Magazine Issue 57 with the demo disk and put that in the disc tray and it should give you the uplink.
