  • Sounds like a variation of the Suicide mission music.

  • long walk

  • That song can be bought on iTunes from the Combat album.

  • Upload using HD... better sound quality in YouTube. Even from 240p and 360p the sound quality is very different.

  • it sounds a bit like ending song but in another kind of way.

  • Jack wall is insane!..!>!>!!??!

  • Could you get the song that plays during the mission where you need to abort that missile launch? You know, the one that has you choosing between saving civilians or saving the military target in the end.

  • Ah yes another awesome song that those assholes forgot to add to the soundtrack. Why would you buy the soundtrack when some of the most memorable songs arent on it?

  • What about the music that plays during the cinematics of the ship battle in the Omega 4 Relay before you crash land, in particular when Joker is trying to make the ship squeeze through the wreckage and stuff., or is that part of the Suicide Mission track?

  • Pretty much all the music in this game is epic. That's the mark of a great game.

  • Samara/Morinth is far more fitting for this. Give her a crowning moment of awesome since she likely won't be returning in a big way (as in as a squadmate) in ME3, imo.

  • @SwobyJ I can see compelling reasons storywise for picking either Samara or Jack. So besides being the best choices gameplay wise I think they are also the best choice storywise

  • @watchinginaz Oh I know! I'm just going from my personal viewpoint. And I think Samara looks cooler right after she does the biotic blast ;) Where Jack just looks pissed.

  • @SwobyJ

    Determined, not pissed.

  • @khatack I can never tell with her.

    Jack: "FUCK OFF!"

  • do you have the sound where it plays after a mission

best i can think of is after you finish Tali's mission and you are standing in the room

  • Thanks for posting, I wish they'd included it in the soundtrack!

As Rane7685 says do you have the music that plays in legion's loyalty mission as you are holding position defending the virus server [it also plays during the battles when you are helping the squadmate in the vent shaft during the 1st part of the suicide mission] ?

    But thanks for this again!

  • @PippaHall

Check his (Pappi's) videos, it's called Hold the Line.

  • Hear a little bit of Illusive mans theme in here.

  • @IAMTEHSPY It's actually based on the suicide mission riff, not Illusive Man :) Originally, it was just going to be one one of Samara's combat pieces recycled here, in fact, the part at 0:59 is a modified version of Samara's 2nd combat piece, only with the middle-eastern instruments taken out. But we decided the battle need a bit more of that "dire" feel, and integrating the Suicide Mission theme into it seemed to do the trick. :)

  • @WallofSoundinc

Ah, thats where the instrument sound came from. What kind of an instrument is that anyway?

  • The most memorable track from the game for me, thanks alot for the upload mate!

  • once again dude u rock!!!! thanks!!!

  • I looked for that song everywhere. It was one of I remembered most after finishing. By the way, ALL of songs played during Suicide Mission are stellar.

  • Hmmm, hadn't noticed before but the final section of this piece even throws in a hint of Samara's theme (as if to make it clear who the best choice for that section is, though of course Jack is up to the job as well).

  • @SentinelGiga I use Jack for the field, with Samara and Thane for Shepard's squadmates. Their biotics are extremely effective against the Collectors and Husks.

  • @GoodwoodAlpha

I usually recruit Neftu Cal and use him for the field since he is a biotic god.

  • @SentinelGiga ha, never thought of it that way, but that's an interesting perspective! That wasn't really intentional, but I guess Samara is a pretty good choice for this part of the game. :) Really, Brian DiDomenico was just playing with various themes for this segment and felt like Samara's 2nd combat piece was a pretty good fit. So it was inserted, and ultimately altered a little bit to what you hear here.

  • Something about this song (particularly the beginning), fighting through the Collectors and knowing what they were, through Harbinger's "I will direct this personally," "If I have to destroy you Shepard, I will," "Leave the bodies where they fall - the dead are useless," et al, really defined this game as nothing short of epic for me more than any other moment.

  • I approve of this track. Its full of win. Its not on the OST or any rips I've encountered which is a crying shame considering how good it is.

  • This was the bast part in the whole game. The music in combination with the tension was lovely. The mission really felt like a suicide mission. Good job bioware. Keep rocking and assume control on all pc's.

  • I actually liked this one better than Hold the Line

  • Can you out this up for download like you did the "hold the line" track?

  • second this very disappointed this and the music that plays in the legion loyalty mission as you are (spoiler coming) defending as the virus uploads/gets destroyed. Anyone know how to extract?

  • @Rane7685

Hmm. I'll look into it. Unless someone already extracted that music.

  • cheers let me know how it goes i cant seem to extract it

  • Why wasn't this song in the official Soundtrack? This one was the best!
