Je me demande parfois ce que feraient les sectateurs de Shugden sans le Dalaï Lama. Probable qu'ils ne trouveraient pas autant d'occasion de faire parler d'eux...Sans compter tous les adeptes qu'il leur a permis d'accueillir dans leurs centres, avant, une fois que ledit adepte est appaté, de le conditionner à détester le même Dalaï Lama.

The problem is that the Dalaï-Lama takes the worshiping of an idol as a simple practice that can be changed socially, yet its a mistake on his part since practicing a religious cult to a deity is of religious nature: you cannot ask a christian to stop preeching Joseph if he has done so all his life. Religious attachment is strong, its an error from the lama to not consider this,
