You saw a Skyline, I mean a Skyline R34. Thats cool, I want one. Instead I'm stuck to deal with my 91' GT-R... I mean its a nice car and all but R34's are just so much more desireable than my R32. Anyways, I seriously don't believe this is a legit Z-TUNE GT-R V-Spec II. Why? There were only 20 of these cars produced, all of which are either in museums. but this is a rediculously good clone though, I mean all the way down to the L.E.D taillights, this guy really paid attention to detail.

Supra's can be really good cars, I mean hey, the 2JZ-GTE can hold 838HP on its stock block, thats pretty remarkable, not to mention the the dual CT9 turbos producing 11.5 PSI, stock. So you may be right, a supra may not be able to out run the devious NISMO Z-TUNE godzilla, however it's not a bad car because of that.

It's so frustrating seeing everyone claim this is a replica. A search will show you all the spec's, the details from Powerplay Imports who imported this car, right down to it's unveiling by its new owner at track day.

The guy paid somewhere in excess of $225K for this car, it is the only one of it's type in Australia. These models were 20 in number, but one was kept by NISMO as the prototype. Interestingly, they are a rebuilt GTR R34, bought back with low km's by nissan to produce the Z-tune

gtr-34 is only illegal for 2 more yrs in north america. in britain and australia, it's not illegal, it's allowed.

as far as i know, the rules are in place because the u.s gov't doesn't want the Japanese to start dumping low mileage, high quality vehicles into our domestic market.

2 more years, and u'll able to drive it everyday and not get it repossessed by the feds. otherwise, import it for now but as a "showcar" or have it modified.

not about safety requirements, just skylines used to be exclusive for japan, after, they relaxed and freed some versions of r34, but not v-specI or v-spec II and of course Z-tuned thats is based on v-spec II N1. same on r35 v-spec I and v-spec II and the special one v-spec II nismo.

Hmm, even if it weren't a Z-Tune its still special, it's still a Nur so that wouldn't matter. The only trouble would to find out if it was a M-spec Nur or a V-spec II Nur.
