  • Hi graham

Yes i meant that big sound; i'm currently working on a food series, recording a movie trailer i'll try to send it via mp3 later to judge but i'll try a close mic.

  • Thanks for replying; question i'm into for now voice overs movie trailers any thing vocal how do i get that 3d sound; i'm runnig my vocals through the avalon with eq before compression but still have not quite got that 3d sound i'm looking for ;can you help

  • @sullihcra I'm not quite sure what you mean by 3d sound...but that big sound can come from many things: doubling the vocal (recording it a second time), being closer to the mic (increases low end, if desirable), etc.

  • hi man

You are the best teacher i seen in 3 years Graham; just bought a sp 737 avalon/motu traveller/mytek dac/ ns 10s/ hs 80s/ axiom 49/ solaris mic/ and some others but this is my dream to really understand all of this in due time; but i hope i can learn alot from you .

    Thank you so much man

  • @sullihcra Thanks for watching and for the compliment. So glad to be of help. Sounds like you have a great setup and I'm sure you're ready to get to making music!
