Bercée par le jazz depuis ma tendre enfance, je n'ai eu subitement qu'une envie : me passer en boucle tous les morçeaux de cet somptueux album. En prime, la joie de la voir en concert au festival de jazz à Avoriaz : whaouh !! So beautiful !

Nice looking gal. Fair voice.. a bit adenoidal (and juvenile sounding which doesn't go with the theme of the song). Beats Dinah Washington in the looks department.... gets absolutely bludgeoned in the singing department.

She´s a great story teller and the Raphaël Lemonnier Quartet that was supporting her was insane, great piano player...

I saw her live at the Royal Festival Hall in London as part of the Billy Strayhorn tribute (which itself was part of London Jazz Week) Sure, she hasn't got some of the subtlety of her Mum's voice, but she sure has some lung power.
