  • Funny how a song like this puts us all in the same...remember when...mode. How many of you would go back to that time if you could?? I would. Great song.

  • There ain't no good guys, there ain't no bad guys...there's only you and me and we just disagree

  • Always enjoyed this song. Really a great 12 String song

  • wonderful song, sometimes it just dont work out between 2 ppl, doesnt mean you dont think of how it could have been !!

  • sounds as good today as it did 30 yrs ago

  • This is the one song that I always think of when I think o my childhood ( born in 71 ) I love this song. It reminds of an innocent time when I walked around the streets of Oklahoma city still holding my mothers hand.

  • still like this dave mason put word and string

  • Good 70's song?--that's an epic 70's song!

  • I miss the age of epic beards, but I think that they're slowly returning thankfully.

  • It's a very, VERY powerful song even today for anyone who's ever been though a tough breakup. Thank you Dave Mason.

  • this song is so damn TRUE.

  • I was 14. It was summer on Cape Cod. I had my first black bikini. The air smelled like baby oil and sea salt and it wasn't a crime to tan. We would leave the beach to watch Luke and Laura on General Hospital. I lied about my age to the lifeguard. Holding hands and kissing was a big deal. Life was simple in a way that's hard to describe to my kids. We were unconnected and just plain living. Life is good. Be happy!

  • @seafoambluebell God bless you for what you said, brilliant! My great friend, the late Joe DiMona, was the headwriter for General Hospital and he was the one who created the Luke and Laura scenario that culminated in the appearance of Elizabeth Taylor and the wedding of Luke and Laura in 1981. Fabulous memories.

  • ハモが心地良い。どこか故郷の懐かしい風の中を歩く陽炎みたいだ。夢のなかのデジャブ。

  • I Love it

    THANKS for posting

  • A great memory from the late 70s.

  • I always associated this with me and ex, it makes me sad.....1979

  • it was 20 or so years ago,I heard this song at work and wished i could hear it again. I had just moved to town and at the time didnt have a cell phone, much less internet or a computer so looking it up was out of the question. The song stuck and i spent many years singing what i thought were the lyrics...Fast forward 20 years and a divorce where THERE IS NO GOOD GUY, THERE IS NO BAD GUY, WE JUST DISAGREE. This song has much more meaning to me now and now I listen to it any time i feel like it!

  • I always thought of this as the theme song ti my movie about a minor league basketball player-a poignant tale etc--which i never began to write--beautifull song/melody

  • YEAH GREAT SONG,,LOTS OF MEMORIES FOR SURE!!! THEN AND NOW..............LOVE LOVE MY MUSIC~~~!!!!

  • love this song!! great memories, tysm for posting!!

  • good tune

  • Great memories and an awesome tune. Just a pleasant break from the day. Thanks for the great song and Peace always. Hey FastPonyGT, it sounds like you are a much younger person. I have a 70' Boss429 in grabber blue, so maybe we can agree on something. Mustangs are cool, no matter the era. Peace...

  • @dajdooley There is very little real music today. As the decades continue to pass, this type of talent diminishes from earth. I remember in the 70's in music class kids used to play real instruments. This one black kid could play "Guitar Boogie" on the piano in the classroom like a pro. And we were all of only about 6 years old!!!

  • @dajdooley Do they even have band class anymore? Guess not, because today kids play with their thumbs on idiot devices. They should just shove those thumbs up their aholes, because that is as useful as they will ever get.

Computers have ruined genuine music and corrupted the mind of the young to the point where true talent in the music arts are stifled into extinction. Cellphones, Ipads, smartphones, nothing but dumb-ing down cancer incubators. Well have fun!

  • This song reminds me of my brother i love him but we always just disagree

  • happy new year

  • Video killed the radio star, video killed the radio star

  • @mocus1

  • この曲もよく聴いたよね。良いね。

  • One of my favorite songs. Haven't heard it in a long time. Thanks for loading that up. Goosebumps when I hear it. Ugh!

  • 15 people just disagree with 2,565 people. They can't see eye to eye.

  • @FastPonyGT LMAO

  • 15 people never disagree.

  • 15 took the disagreement way too hard.

  • A song that nobody can turn off. How could you not help but to sing it out loud?? What a great car tune, too.

  • This song is not what alot of peaple think a lost love but about one of his original band mates

and the break of a group who split in two can you guess who they are and who they became

  • Yes, I suppose we have grown up differently.

  • @jimbamboozled You sound like a Dick!

  • Great great great song

  • Comment removed

  • mason had has it and still does all the music from growing up this is great, wish someone would take the shit they play now, trash it and go back to real music like this love it Great memories Traffic love it

  • Original Traffic...Steve Winwood...Jimi Hendrix...Eric Clapton...George Harrison...The Rolling Stones...Feelin' Alright...Hole in My Shoe...the list goes further !!! This Guy has jammed with the best of the time...This tune I always thought was a country artist...I believe I was like 4 when I first heard it !!!

  • Mason is one of those unsung heros who are so damn good it's pitiful. I've seen him. I know his music and let me tell you Mr. Musician, you ain't no Dave Mason!!

  • @taypar11 amen brother. This song sounds so damn amazing on a big system. With the mids turned up. The harmonizing of Dave's voice with the rest of the band.members = magnifico.

I opened up one of my dj sets with it (looping the "woohoo.hooo whoooo" after the first verse. People came up to me after my set, asking me to ID the track and if it was a new release? I almost laughed because I think the song was released in the 70's. Dave Mason = brilliant musician & beautiful voice.

  • what r the guitar chords please?

  • Great guitar chords. Completely Beautiful. Thanks Dave.

  • I remember when this hit the airwaves back in 1977, one of my fav's.

  • Your mom slapped you over a dirty Elvis shirt?! WOW! LOL!!

  • @DakotaY24 I got slapped for less than that and I'm grateful...there are situations that warrant a spanking (not a beating, or abuse) and I'm reminded daily when I see ill-behaved children publicly. Too many parents DON'T discipline. Just my opinion...

  • @warmsquirrelturd: But was wanting to wear a dirty Elvis shirt being ill-behaved? Well, I wasn't there, I didn't see the arguement, so only you would know if you deserved to be slapped over that. (My opinion though), we are close in age, I probably had that same shirt. I just can't imagine my mother slapping me over that. (I am under the impression from what you wrote in your caption, you got more than a spanking.)

  • Beautiful song!!! Thanks for the share! :) Peace \/

  • Such sweet music from the seventies...

  • 1979,after a football game, doesnt matter if we won or not.10th grade. In a pizza place, sitting with the cheerleaders. This song came on,and for me,its one moment in MY history that is forever.I will never forget that instance when it came on.I can only hope my kids have a moment in time like that. Its not often a song touches your soul.

  • @Bonesnapperr - awesome.

  • @Bonesnapperr That's cool ! For me it's Tommy Roes Hooray For Hazel 1966.

  • @Bonesnapperr absolutely lovely what you said, and exactly what I am thinking.

  • @Bonesnapperr it is funny that the best memory of your childhood is something so simple. but i can remember many minutes of my life that i remember the exact minute of each and every awakening seconds of my teenage years. i will always cherish them. i am in my forties and that is what keeps me young.

  • 14 people have no clue and WE JUST DISAGREE. So sad.

  • Just recently, my dad and I had an arguement. That stated, I can definitely relate to this tune.

  • LUV THIS SONG!!

WHERE HAVE THE 70's GONE??? =)

  • @reichmuth100 gone with the wind my friend. sad but ture, i miss the 70,s to.

  • im only 11 and im in love with this song =)

  • I agree with 'ya Raleighman3000

  • Every thing is backwards :

    churches kill religion

    doctors kill medicine

    governments kill democracy

    schools kill education

    record labels kill music...

  • @bilkrimson We should have all known when the very first video on MTV was "Video Killed the Radio Star". How prophetic that was.

  • @bilkrimson MTV plays music ???

  • Love this song!!!!!!!!!!

  • This makes me think of my first apartment in 1977, when I was 21.

    What great days those were.

  • Fourth grade 1979 - Got up and getting ready for school - I wanted to where my Elvis shirt - mom said "no" because it hadn't been washed - this song was on the radio as we argued - I insisted on the Elvis shirt - finally it came to blows - Mom slapped the living fuck outa me - I didn't get to where the shirt - but BY GOD - I sung this song as loud as I could all the way to the freakin' bus stop!!

  • @dewaynecullen LOL...that is such a great and funny story. That was back in the day when moms could and did do that. You and I are close in age and I can totally relate. :)

  • @dewaynecullen and proceeded to not pay attention to the lesson about the difference between 'where' and 'wear.'

  • @MrAudienceMember ...whaaa??

  • @dewaynecullen lmfao ...yea back in the day moms would slap the fuck out of us. Now its "TIME OUT ".......I bet you didnt argue anymore either , did ya ???? good story , thanks for sharing !

  • @dewaynecullen - Trust me, I understand perfectly. Had a scene eerily similar to what you described.

  • @dewaynecullen 1979, senior year.....met a girl. swore she was the one. Not, but still remember the music
