I've never been to a Rasputina recital yet, but if ravynkat is correct, then I must come to the conclusion that many of the attendees of Rasputina's shows are self-absorbed, cretinous philistines.
@TropicApocalypse typical nightclub/bar scene. No one appreciates the music. Some of the drunks migh sing along a few words when they realize they know part of the song, but real appreciation for the music. Sad that a great band such as this is forced to play in dives.
Zoe Keating's got some pretty sick skills, too. It's too bad she doesn't play with Rasputina anymore. If you search for her on YouTube and check out her channel you'll be wowed, trust me.
Very familiar with Zoe, she's beautiful and brilliant. I met her the day she joined Rasputina and she was sweet as sugar! She always impressed me while she was with the group and has continued to impress me since.
