The only thing is, The Tea Party made this song for a fan who wrote to them who was being abused by her father (I can't remember exactly how, I think sexually but I read the article a long time ago so I'm not completely sure) so it seems kind of inappropriate to me to have it about Harry Potter.
Hello, to correct you: the song they wrote for the abused fan was a different song from the same album. It was "Soulbreaking", which they also released as a single with a percentage of the proceeds going to the White Ribbon Campaign, which is 'Men Against Violence Against Women'. "Requiem" was written as an encouragement against choosing suicide.

I found the article through Wikipedia links (fairly easily; I should do my homework) and it turns out that for the past however many years I've been mistaking Requiem for Soulbreaking and Soulbreaking for Apathy (I always thought the lyrics for Soulbreaking didn't match the description). Now that I listen to all three with the right description, they make much more sense. Thanks, sorry about that.
