  • Good freaking memories!!! Their shows back then with the fireworks and light shows were the bomb!!

  • This takes me back to the times back in my home town of Memphis Texas when my friends and I used to go out to the country and play the radio loud to these songs like this one from the Mafia.

  • man back in the day con una pickup and some budwiser or miller chale good times

  • Es del programa de Johnny Canales, ahi solamente hacian playback,no estan tocando en vivo.

  • Do you have any more videos of La Mafia from this era? I am doing research for a book on Tex-Mex music.

  • i dont have anymore vids on la mafia.i have los chamacos.also check out my xcalibre vids.they were very inspired by these bands..i know because i play the guitar for xcalibre..

  • I loved La Mafia back in the day. Got to Romantic for me.

  • Does anybody have any videos to post of their performances at the Hi Ho Ballroom in Grand Prairie?

  • triunfando cantando en castellano en una tierra con idioma ingles tan poco romantico...el español es idoma mas romantico

  • Come to think of it, the drummer (Adam Mosqueda) was also with Xelencia. Half of La Mafia's original line-up made up the original Xelencia. No wonder I like them so much.

  • hey dude who else from xelencia used to be in la mafia back in the days?

  • I'm not completely sure who else, but I forgot about Randy Caballero. He wasn't part of the original La Mafia lineup, but I know he played on La Mafia's Xplosiv and then went with Xelencia.

  • WOW, that's the first time I get to see Israel "Speedy" Villanueva actually playing bass with La Mafia. I think the sax player was Jesse Peralta (?) They both went on to play with Xelencia and Speedy with Jay Perez, Albert Diaz and others I'm probably not aware of. Badass video.

  • Looking every where for early material from La Mafia...Can anyone help? Looking for stuff from about 1983 to 1990. Most of this material was on cassette tape. Looking for hits like "Tanto Tiempo" and others in that time frame. Ive emailed the Group website but never have replies. Any private citizen that can help send me a message. Thanks!

  • Can anyone tell me where I can get some of their early years stuff from 1980 to about 1988. I know most of it is out of print but I know its out there. I had alot on cassette tape but they got old and wore out. I tried the bands website but they never answer the emails. Dont know why I even care.Nostalgic I guess.

  • Good News EMI just re-released one of their best CD's released "Xplosiv" about a month ago if you don't have it go grab it should be at your local Tejano record shops and even Ebay I have not seen it anywhere else, I went to my local Mexican Record store and had them order it for me.
