What a great man, McCain you are a hero to me. I longed for you to be the president of our country. But I still have to thank you for the great service and sacrifices you've made for our nation.

I don't agree with most of McCain's opinions on political issues but after seeing this interview I do have more respect for him as a person. He and all the other POWs of the Vietnam War went through a lot of suffering. Seeing him trying to hold back his emotions when he was talking about his family made me tear up. Everyone had their breaking point at the Hanoi Hilton, and most of the POWs there did give up information after constant torture that could have been fatal.

wow.. thanks for posting this. regardless of political affiliation, McCain is a great man and it's so comforting to know without a doubt that he's got our best interests at heart.
