good luck with that NOT how do you stop big government take away their money. you can not change Congress. but you can take away there money. ask me how. go on ask me how. really ask me how to take away big government money.
Obomber is a WAR Monger, A Criminal and A LIAR! Stop Apologizing for Obomber and for the Democratic Party. BOTH Parties are corrupt. We Need 3rd and 4th and 5th parties to start running and make more noise.
Obomber IS A Defender of the Status Quo. The Status Quo is defending the RICH & Powerful Too BIG To Fail friends of the Government, like the BAILOUT.
Obomber has been Bombing and Killing in the Middle East since he was elected as WAR Monger in Chief.
Yeah I said Obama was half balck to my friend & he laughed & said you can't say that but yeah I reckon you can. It's like saying half Italian. I guess I meant if you saw him on the street & didn't know where he was from you'd probably say he's African American. I don't think Obama is for the rich as he did allot of community work & at Harvard rallies he was always for decreasing poverty. But he walked into 2 wars, global ecconmic crisis, climate change health care & conservative congress.
No, he's not for the RICH, thats why he gave them a Trillion Dollar Bailout while the rest of the people go unemployed, homeless, lose their life savings.
He didn't just walk into this stuff like he didn't know what was going on, he Voted for the Bailouts, He voted for the Patriot Act, He said he was going to expand the WAR in Afghanistan, but none of his dumb obama sheep paid attention to that stuff.
No, Palin is a Neo-Con, Ron Paul would NOT choose that moron to be his running mate. Yes, Ron Paul would be 77, it would be great if he were a bit younger, but he isn't. The man is in excellent condition though, he exercises, bike rides quite a bit. And just look at him, he is a sharp dude. So I do not think that would be such a problem. He isn't going to try to be el Dictator like W., or Obomber.
I think it sux that people are voted in based on promises that they don't have to keep (how is this democracy ?)
I think leaders should only be able to promise something they show they can implement/how & have to keep these promises unless they can prove later that it would not be in the best interest of its people anymore compared with before. It seems crazy that governments are voted in by a majority based on things they often will not do. Congress is ridiculous !
Because people are in love with television shows and thats exactly what our presidential election is, a Billion dollar reality show. And people are more interested in retarded reality TV rather than REALITY. So when you have some guy with a nice BIG Smile saying all these nice things, with no way to back any of them up, Slogans, CHANGE & HOPE its like watching a football game and the people at home think they are part of the team, we won, our team, blah blah blah. Its brainwashing Manipulation!
Also Bailing out the banks just encourages them to do the same thing again and C E O's continuing to receive huge bonuses as there are no penalties/consequences for them.
The money controls the country like this guy says.
Obama is weak, to be sure, but he can't control the corrupt congress, and therein lies the rub, folks. If they don't do what WE want get them out of there!
IF your eally want to change congress then go here to DEMOCRATZ dott ORG where you can sign petitions which send out emails right away to demand such legislation as a single payer public option.
Everybody's busy watching Access Hollywood! As the broken system implodes on the masses, maybe there will be enough people that have the will to work for a better society.
Can't we just outlaw lobbying? Run a bulldozer down 'K' Street, and require anyone with some information to provide, to submit it in writing and wait to be called before television cameras for questioning. It's all the stuff behind closed doors that's killed Congress, so just outlaw it.
No. Through the Constitution, the People have the right to bring their grievances before Congress and the Representatives of the Electorate. One person may come to Washington to do this, or a group of people can hire someone to come and do it for them. Lobbying is one of the few jobs that is protected by the Constitution...sorta. What we CAN to is reform the funding of elections to change the money that feeds the system. Say "Election Finance Reform!"
The constitution is so outdated and will tie America down unless it is changed. How can a country progress if it is limited by laws dating back that long ago, it's madness ! Times change, funny how a black President is in "The White house"
We need to start by getting rid of the 16th Amendment - and the 40,000 New Laws that were created to control our lives, Last Year!
Oh, and by the way, Obama, he is only Half Black. Remember, his Mom is white. He was raised by his white Grandma. He barely even knew his African father.
Yes, You can - You can make an Amendment towards the Constitution, outlawing Lobbying. The whole revolving door of BIG Government and BIG Corporation needs to stop. If we are to even have a government, its ONLY Job is to protect the peoples rights to liberty and freedom, nothing more! No entitlements, No occupying forces around the world. We either fix the government or get rid of it altogether!
Although I sympathize with your frustrataion and acrimony, how are you going to define "lobbying"? You have a right to address your representatives...and you can appoint someone your surrogate on this matter. They are your agent; they represent you to your representative. They are, in effect, lobbying on your behalf. Do we eliminate lobbyists with more than one client? Are groups of concerned citizens entitiled to someone to speak on their behalf?
Well, I guess we don't know for sure who is all talk or not. A lot of people voted for Obomber thinking he was the real deal and all he brought about was more of the same.
But Ron Paul seems to me to be as honest as they come, he isn't some slick made for TV guy like Obomber is. When he debates or talks about a subject he goes straight for the jugular, he doesn;t ever dance around a question like other politicians do. Ron Paul seems trust worthy to me.
Sorry mate I should have viewed Ron Paul speaking before making that comment, he does look honest and passionate and says what nobody else seems to have the balls to say !
Awesome. See he speaks the Truth and speak it powerfully, how can one not think that after listening to him speak. He is honest, says what he means and means what he says. Sure he isn't a 100% perfect, none of us are, but as for politicians he is as close as it gets.
If the government is less involved under Ron Paul, don't you think that would give the private sector more power hence more povery ? How do you reckon he could counter this ?
No. Because less government involvement, mean less corporatism - there is a BIG difference between BIG corporations which are subsidized and backed by the BIG government, given Bailouts etc. w/o the BIG government support those BIG corporations would wither up and go away. There is nothing wrong with private ownership - if you owned a business you would not screw the people, nor would I etc. Only those w the power government behind them can do so - mom & pop business is not the problem here.
good luck with that NOT how do you stop big government take away their money. you can not change Congress. but you can take away there money. ask me how. go on ask me how. really ask me how to take away big government money.
