Great set up,are you planning on getting a table top machine?also does your apb machine have a sit down seat?i couldn't make it out with the bad lightng.
dude i hail to your shrine... but BITCH lol... WhrTF is GALAGA HUH? old school shoulder shove with grimace on face !!!! lol /cue the music watch?v=uFlQNtL8F9s
just to add to the thme lol
dude i be kidding.
Also brother of the arcade.... born on the 80' ... and yeah i do appreciate a good classic as much as the next game junkie but where is the vending machine and change machine?
also have a couple of tv's in corners for king of kong - a fistful of quarters and chasing the ghost nice shrine bud.
@jawbraeka also pacman .. and possibly if your gen stretches that far a NES arcade machine with pretty much all NES games in arcade format...... possibly if this won't kill your mojo for the ARCADE.. a tournament version of PACMAN which has come out which, as far as i know includes the original version but is on ps3 so whether a cabinet build for a ps3 is viable is a possibility also.
Tron and Spy Hunter would be awesome to own. I have a Pac Man, Donkey Kong and Dig Dug. They need a little help, but someday I hope to fix them up and get a few more.
I watch many youtube vids on these personal arcades as I want to buy some for my home. I have no idea where people get the machines for a couple of hundred dollars as when Iook on the bay they can be over a 1000.
You just have to keep your eyes open, I see them going for under $300 all the time, the trick is to find them in your area so you can pick them up yourself and don't have to pay freight. I have 2 stand up arcade games, a floor model slot machine and a redemption game, now granted they all needed work but the most I spent for any of them was $110, in fact I got one of the stand ups and the redemption for $1 a piece!
Cool! I came to youtube to look around because I myself am going to start a MAME cabinet project this Saturday!!! Gonna be cool! Its NOT gonna look cool like yours but it will be very functional. I have bought my "X Arcade" joysticks /buttons ( no trackball - SAD) and have a stripped down PC for the CPU! I have 19Gigs of ROMS ready to play too!
Its time to have the gang over for some contests! Love your arcade! I too have my black light bought! Thanks for sharing!
Wow, totally admire your set up complete with blacklighting. TRON !!!!!!! I like the ambience and the sound of the room feels like an 1980s arcade joint. All its missing is the pizza and cola ^_^ You and your lady did a great job!
Cooling has never been an issue as it's in a basement and during the winter I shut the heat vents to that room and it stays real cool. In the summer when I open vents, it's even colder because the AC works very easily on basement rooms.
Awesome arcade!

@RareAspie Don't shop on "the 'bay". Check local listings, constantly.
