Everybody can work hard if they put their mind into it, like she did. Well I don't mind so much that her public speaking skills may be lacking but compared to whom? Have any of you out there listened to other entertainers in her field? I mean lets be fair here. She is light years above most of the other people she works with when it comes to speaking and being a ROLE MODEL.
I think she should be coached in public speaking. And frankly, she ALWAYS speaks like this. If you watch alot of Beyonce interviews, you will see that she is not good at public speaking and interviews. And that's ok...she can't be great at everything. Jay is a very lucky guy. Beyonce seems so sweet and down to earth. She is an angel. Also if you notice in Jay's interviews, he is also very bashful and down to earth. It intrigues me how thier stage presence and natural personality can vary so much. Both of them are made for each other. A true example of beautiful people.

I think that Beyonce is one of the greatest entertainers of our time but I would not hail her as a great role model though. A role model in my mind is someone you would want kids to emulate (even while youthful) and I think she's too "adult" styled & sexed up to be.
Having said that though, WE as individuals need to be OUR children's role models and stop counting on celebrities cause 95% of what we see & know about them is just a facade & not reality.

Everybody knows she is not a role model BUT she is a great entertainer. For instance a role model for me, are the President Obama, Martin Luther King, Oprah, Alicia Keys, M.I.A., etc... Why, because they always have something to talk about it, for example, the epidemic in Africa, education, poverty, how we all need to love each.

She needs to improve her vocabulary, perhaps take some advice from Shakira. Also, I don't think she is a role model, but I think she is a great entertainer. Everybody can work hard if they put their mind into it, like she did. However, for her to be a role model she needs to finish her education and maybe that way people will look at her with different eyes and not only as a sex symbol.

There are people in higher positions that speak way worse than beyonce. In my opinion, AT LEAST SHES NOT USIING SLANG AND SHE IS SPEAKING APPORIATELY, WHICH HALF OF YOU CANT EVEN DO. AN INTERVIEW IS NOT THE EASYTIEST THING TO DO. HAVE YOU GUYS FORGOTTEN THAT THE REASON SHE DID NOT GET A HS DIPLOMA IS BECAUSE SHE STARTED SINGING AT SUCH AN EARLY AGE. She's a spokesperson for the cure of aids and children's day. She has also given her time to the make a wish foundation for over 5 years now. @TheVtblackbeauty i agree that ideally women should idolize women who do not feed into the stereotypes of our society..but that won't happen:when it comes to trends and fashion and what is considered 'beautiful' and 'popular' the way to change these trends and stereotypes is not to go against them,but to get to a point where you yourself are the leader of the trend, the one who embodies all of these stereotypes, and THEN you become the innovator,and the one who in turn can change the stereotypes

Beyonce, past the sexy image that is purely for marketing (she's an extremely smart CEO) then you'll see that unlike many other female stars she promotes female empowerment. Plus, she gives back to the community by her charity work, food drives, Katrina victims, etc. Not many people know that all the money ($4million) she made from her roll in Cadillac Records went to The Phoenix House- a treatment center for addicts. She gives back to people in need and has even before she became famous.

I think she should be coached in public speaking. And frankly, she ALWAYS speaks like this. If you watch alot of Beyonce interviews, you will see that she is not good at public speaking and interviews. And that's ok...she can't be great at everything. At least we understand what she's saying when she talks. I guess that's all that matters.

I read interviews were she was more relaxed she talked even more slang and non-descripte. Beyonce can't go above this because she's not intelligent and doesnt' have a large vocabulary.
