and just like alot of stuff in this world , they may sound/look a bit alike. but there is always a difference , maybe when you say that the one is better then the other means there's something wrong with your ears , cause they are all special in there own way;) i say just love the music you love , and enjoy a wonderfull song by marty friedman;)

@pulpnonfiction13 if we speak about techniques, Broderick is better, yes he's better at speed, two handed tappings, etc. but he sounds like another great shredders such as Jeff Loomis, Michael Romeo, Chris Impelliteri, etc.

and Marty friedman sounds like no-one else, everytime i listen to his song, he doesn't reminds me of another guitarist, he has his own 'character'. he develop his own style, he has a great sense of melodic and has a lot of uniqueness in his phrasing & note selection
