  • @MrJervilla i compete in strongman and am more of a power lifter training wise but i also compete in bodybuilding problem is being 6ft 5 squatting that low and dealifting are hard as hell

  • @MrJervilla bro 90% of all naturals never make it up to 20 inch arms or 300 pounds it comes as a natural gift i played football all my life its pure lucky genetics my last year of high school i was already 280 at 10%with 20 inch arms before i ever touched a weight at 302 i fucked my knee and turned to bodybuilding with me its pure luck not everyone can achieve this everyone has a set limit through genetics im 305-330 dieting and around 375 off season and Ive never been a big eater

  • @kylecavnar ok. Don't want to get ina n argument but i will explain... When you go down deep into a squat to where your hips are lower than your knees it transfers some of the stress off of the knee joint and more of it onto the much larger joint of the hips. Its also a more natural range of motion and stretches out the muscles more, and doesnt jar the joints. So my advice is to do full squats but whatever he is doing is obviously working,.

  • Not full squats? Your hips should come lower than your knees for a legal squat. Also just doing the top portion of the rep really puts unnatural stress on the knee joint. Sorry but I hate it wwhen i see people load up the bar with a lot of weight and then squat 3in. in depth!

  • @pbhenry you are such an idiot...the leg training was filmed while he was getting ready for contest and was on low carbs..Ben is a master when it comes to leg training..you are in no position to teach him how to squat..i bet u must be doing single 45 and hoping your legs will grow...this isnt some power-lifting contest where he needs textbook squats..he never even uses belt or knee wraps.........and trust me he can even squat you with all that weights

  • @pbhenry studies have shown that squatting ass deep has moree quad activation,,,also its a natrual biomechanical movement to squat deep,,,tom platz, jay cutler,,ronnie coleman all squat ass deep squat properly you pussies

  • You DO NOT need to squat butt to ankles, that is stupid these keyboard bodybuilders no nothing. If professional powerlifting judges say you only have to squat to parallel, that should say something considering they have been doing it for longer than these wanabes have been alive. Also look at Ben's legs, now post your legs. His leg circumference are bigger than these pre-pubecents shoiulders.

  • @bdegrd he's not even hittin parallel though. Would you get more growth doing a quarter of the movement..or doing a full range of motion? Full range of motion. Watch some of jays/ronnies/branch vids. They go all the way down. Jay/ Branch are the top bodybuilders in the world right now. Wheres ben at? not even top 10.
