  • good vid u explained the blinds nicely

  • moto semplicistico ma molto intuitivo come metodo. io però preferisco le video lezioni di texas hold em di caressa su pokerclub sto usando questa piattaforma consigliatami da un amico e devo dire che mi trovo molto bene.

  • Is it cheating if you rearrange the cards on your hand so that they go in sequential order?

  • @CardiohallPictures no its not.

  • hi. i hav a poker game that i play every now and then, and i know i am a begnner, and thanks to this exact video, i learned how to play. im currently learning to memorize poker hands, and i know that a pair is lower than a two-pair. howvever, in the game, ill hav a two-pair, but my opponent will win with only a pair... is there some kind of rule where a certain lower hand can beat a higher hand, or what? thk u

  • @gloryglorybarcelona

nope -- for eg if u have A2 and ur opponent has A9

    and the board comes- A , 2 , 5 , 5 , 6 --- in this case u lose even u have 2 pair because remember its making the best 5 cards , so

    the best 5 card in this case is - A , A , 5 , 5 , 9 ( so he wins) with the best kicker

since he made his 2 pair also but he got it from the board

    hope it helps

  • @samilove999 it does help. u replied late enough for me to know the answer months ago anyway, but thanks for the help. appreciate it :)

  • That was REALLY helpful thanks :D

  • How come at 6:02 , when they are going around having a final bet, they go around twice. Like after the Green Dealer, should they stop? Or do you always go twice around during the final bet? Somone please reply.

  • @Grinder815 For each community card that is dealt, it always starts a new round of betting. In this case, the red player starts out betting 1000. Purple calls, and then the green player RAISE to 2000. And because green raises 1000 more than The red player, he has to make a new decision, either call, fold or raise. He calls and then the last man (purple) has to make a new decision too. He decided to just call. And then it ain't more betting.

If purple had re-raised, it would have go another round

  • @Rayarzen

    KK thanks alot it helped.

  • @Grinder815 you have to go back around until the initial bet is met by everyone..

Example if player a bets 500 player b calls and player c raised 1000, both player a and b have to call or re-raise to stay in the hand

  • @Grinder815 teach me how to play

  • this explained poker in the easiest way of understanding possible... very well done. so simple a caveman could play poker...!

  • good work guys. I was a little skeptical at first by your accents but it helped a lot.

  • helpful!

  • what does fold mean?

  • It means when you pass and leave the game becvause you cant handle the big money that your afraid tyo lose the money you gamebled you lose

  • haha yeah thats it pretty much!

it means you dont want to continue playing the current hand so you put your cards in the muck.

  • Comment removed

  • @ledzep250 lol you know alot of donks still havent figured that out. Something in low limits they might as well call it no foldem holdem

  • helped a little..i can now be considered as a beginner!!! :)

  • I got it now!

  • cool i almost got it

  • yeah it helped a little and it was kinda funny but im still confused on it a little

  • Thanks, Helped alittle :)

  • thanks this really helped

  • i dont understand the rules of checking.can't everyone keep checking

  • light74259. i'm pretty sure its i there is no bet to begin with. like when you do the first round of betting then the person can check and the next person can too and so on. but if the first person puts in $20 then everyone that wants to stay in has to put in $20. you can only check if there is no "call" to bet on. hope that helps

  • how many ways of playing poker are there?.....but really nice way of teaching it

  • there are quite a few ways of playing poker, the most common is texas hold'em poker. Others include, omaha, seven card stud, five card stud and razz.

  • Let me get this right, In the first part of the match, after your dealt your two cards, The Small blind bets, then the Big blind bets, when it comes to the third player, he can;t check can he? He must either Call, Raise or fold is that right? you have to put chips down in the first round before the flop?

  • Yes that is correct, the small and big blinds are forced bets and the player to the left of the big blind must either call, raise or fold.

  • umm...if i bet 200 and the dude on my left raies it to 300,do i have to add another 100 to the pot?

  • If you wish to continue in the hand then you must put in the additional amount the player has raised .... or you can fold.

  • @gam3rb0y93

techincally it is an underraise and he has to raise to 400. ( But otherwise yes in order to continue you need to match that amount or fold

  • Absolutely awesome! To start with I thought it was explained too.... well... too babyish but I can't deny that this video has taught me quite a few things in detail so 5/5 to you :)

  • Best Poker Tutorial ever! Really lays things out pretty clearly!!!!

  • do you have to burn cards in the community cards, and why?

  • Yes, this ensures no cheating occurs from "marking cards" or "counting cards" throughout the game.

Sequence of events - Dealing of cards, round of betting, burn ONE card, three card flop, round of betting, burn ONE card, one card turn, round of betting, burn ONE card, one card river, final round of betting, showdown

  • A pretty good tutorial on how to play ...

  • this is pretty good but if a raise is set at 500 on the blinds the turn card minimum bet has to be 500.

  • I dont believe this is correct,

Which form of poker are you referring to?

  • omh thanks im 13 and its ether read a book whichs is 150 pages or a 7 min vid this will do and im playing my first real money grabbing game to moz yayayayayaya and its like firends of my dad at his place but brig your ow money so im not bracking the law!

  • okay........

  • thanks this really helped me a lot, i got betting sometimes now in places and for extra practice i go to myspace hold 'em

  • Thanks a lot!!!

  • that was really usefull but what are the "burn" cards for? they didnt seem to get used at all

  • just to ensure there is no counting cards going down

  • thanks... it has helped.. now to take on the poker players in PS3 HOME...

  • Aw Dude I Know That Place! It's The Godfather One! Add Me! PSN: HappyCuppyCake

  • thxs guys realy helpful

  • gawd this is cheesy

  • that was a really goog tut. cheers.

  • wha wha wee wah

  • A Verry Nice! Yeksmesh!

  • thx for the explanation guys,

    helped heaps

  • can u play with 2 players??

  • Ideally, poker should be played with 6-12 players, 8 is a great number. In a tournament, "heads up" is when the remaining two players are battling for the win. Ideally the minimum players should be around 5-6, this ensures the blinds are passed around fairly and everyone gets a turn at playing in a different position.

  • does the round of betting always end with the player at the right of the dealer?

  • pre-flop, the betting ends with either the big blind (if no bet has been placed) or the player who has raised most recently.

Post-flop, the betting ends with the dealer position or the player who has raised most recently.

  • it does not end untill all remaining players have a matching bet

  • what happens if one player raises his bet but the remaining all don't want to match? do they fold and the player with the raised bet wins?

  • yes

  • rly good job.

finally a vid what tought me something!

    thx

  • lol this is the best guide vid 4 sure great job

  • HAha Their voices Sound Like a puppet

  • wow, thanks a bunch. i learned a lot from this video. hahaha... no limit texas hold 'em. heheh...

  • Crickey

  • This is very helpful. But im still about to lose 10$

  • thank you:)

  • Thanks :)

  • wow, no other guide or video has been as easy to understand as this one. Good job!!

  • lol, i dunno why, the voice is funny XD

  • i dont understand wen they show there cards wat all the fushes and full house means

  • 30 seconds into the video all the poker hands are shown. The hands are placed in ascending order

a player is dealt two cards and five are placed in the community cards. All players have to make the best 5 card poker hand from the 7 cards (2 in hand and 5 on table).

  • best how to texas holdem, good job.

  • What does 'call' mean?

  • when a player says "call" that means they match the bet a previous player has placed.

Example: a bet of 100 is placed, the next player says "call" which means they put 100 chips into the pot.

  • call means to have the same betting as the higest bet in that single game:).

  • I've watched a good 10 or so How to play vids so far, and this is easily the best yet. Highly informative and simple.

    Great job.

  • say to choose the dealer someone 2 people get a king and its the highest thats on the table. wat do i do?

  • you deal those two people another card face up.

The highest of those two cards gets the dealer button.

    eg) P1 King, P2 King P1 10 P2 3

    P1 is the dealer

  • Thanx guys. this was the best vidoe yet. most describtive! like i said, Thanx

  • i have question what does check mean?

  • thank you soooo much you are also funny

  • This is a realy helpfull intro to poker. Cheers.

  • i have question i have question! why are some community cards placed face down and do they get used?

  • they are called the burn cards, they are NOT seen by any player. They are considered to stop "cheating" as a player may accidently/ purposely see the next card coming from the deck.

  • thank you!!

  • this was the most helpful video i have seen.

    you fucking rock!

  • how many chips we star out wit reds? blues? whites? black? how many of ech

  • I do it like that.

    White=1 red=5 green=25 blue=50 black=100

And 10 of each one except blue and black which are 5 pieces.

  • it depends if the other players call the raise, if they dont call the raise then no flop, if they do call the raise then a flop will happen

  • so if that last person(purple) raised would there still be a flop?

  • when r players allowed to check?

  • if no raise pre-flop then big blind can check.

players can check if they are the first player to act (after flop has been dealt) or if a previous player has not made a raise and previous player has checked

  • this was a pretty good vid

  • way to confusing.. ill stick to blackjack

  • i have a question. in the example here, if one player checks, all the others checked as well. but if someone in the party checks, are all the others still free to raise anyway...and thus forcing the person who checked to raise also?

  • yes, if a previous player checks the next player is free to raise.

The initial player who checked can now either raise the bet or call the bet or fold.

    hope that helps

  • ah i see, so basically unless everyone checks, checking is just a temporary move. thanks a lot.
