At The Dentist Getting Cavities Filled

So I'm getting two cavities filled in a week but I was suppose to get them done today. The dentist told me to close my eyes but the she was pushes my face down so I looked and a huge needle was in her hands so I started freaking out. So next week I'm getting numb gel the shot and laughing gas. Will I still feel it??

@Juicyberry10 nothing, nothing is better than the straight up local nestegia. best thing to get cavities filled. first they out a little drop of it so it numbs the surface, then they inject it. you feel absolutley nothing. the only bad part is that the anestegia tastes like crap. i suggest you overcome the fear for needles because they WILL make you feel better. thats a fact. so basicly, needle>laughing gas

lol i had a cavity drilled today and they didnt do ANYTHING to numb it, my dentist said that it was a little cavity and literaly the appointment was 5 minutes of painless drilling

do they inject something in your gums or teeth to num it to get the cavity out?

@reynundo yea they inject it into your gums and then they drill :'/

@Lavenderlash yeah pretty much anything that involves drilling or cutting into your mouth means you will be totally numb :)

i had to get two of them filled and no it does not really hurt though i will say it does burn and make you feel uncomfertable when they num you.
