Most people here consider techno (and/or minimal) just as "party/disco-music". They do not listen to it at home. They don't know anything about techno history. They simply go to the disco and they appreciate this genre only as "leisure-time music". I hope things will change and i hope that Club-Kulture and Techno Culture will really spread in italy too..a day
