Im not much of a gundam fan but from wat i can see they seem to be more "closer" to real world limitations than gurren lagann the better one's seem to have higher specs than ganmen i say this because i no of some tht can move at a crazy speed faster than any ganmen at least in combat leavin out the fact spiral power lets u teleport but realisticly if there was a war ganmen or gurren lagann's world would have 100x greater resources to win scratch tht its inf since thts based off spiral energy

The whole ganmen and gundam topic is a bit wishy washy I mean not everyone can make giant drills the size of skyscrappers threw shear force of will and crucify other mech on a gaint pair of sunglasses lol also not all ganmen can heal themselves on the spot it just depends on who is the pilot is and the rules tht govern ea anime sorta dont agree with ea other seeing how gurren lagann kicks logic out and makes the impossible possible but i still give it up to the ganmen as my best bet of winning

Ganmen require only Spiral Power for their ammunition, someone with a strong spirit would be able to power the ship for as long as his/her own willpower holds out, along with using that power to make repairs to the Ganmen on the spot. Gundams on the other hand have finite resources, they have to return to base in order to refuel and make repairs on their Mecha, along with reloading their ammunition: a feat that takes hours (if not whole days) 2 accomplish

@unicron3000 no you are mistaken, they were unable to find the anti-spiral dimension, because of this a stalemate came above earth were the humans were able to defend earth but unable to find the anti-sprials while the anti-spirals could not break through the human defenses. during this stalemate the anti sprial aperred to lordgenome to tell him of the spiral nemisis.

@ProfChainsawFace I can see a little Armadillo, a Scorpion, and a gorilla...there's some mewtwo looking thing but I'm not sure it's a Salamander (is Cytomander even really a Salamander??). Only Guam seems to be alive, the rest of em seem like...toys, just like all the rest in the spiral that leads to young Genome. They're probably meant to refference the generals, but I think only Guam is literally there.
