it's going to open this year, not 2012.... the commercial i've seen on TV says everything is done this year, including the Tranformers Ride and The Madagascar one...... they even invited Jet Li at the official opening of EVERYTHING in the park..... i'm going at Oct and i can't wait, because my friend went just recently and he said it was AWESOME!!!

sucks that universal studios hollywood dont have more land for their theme park, like the one in orlando,, our universal studios here in hollywood could only hold 3 rides at a time, so whenever a new ride comes, an old one has to go down, i dont think we have ever had more then 3 rides in the park, and then of course shows

WHY DIDN'T UNIVERSAL START CONSTRUCTION DURING THE WINTER?!! I was there many times over the winter and that Special Effects and 20+ year old backdraft lot was always DEAD. I was at Universal Studios Hollywood yesterday and they've stripped that giant building down to the bare concrete support beams and steel roof. Its about god damn time Universal started adding more stuff. There are only 3 good rides: The Mummy #1, The Simpsons #2 and Jurassic Park #3, cant forget T2 "Theater" #4.
