Can someone please help me with this. I have never had this problem until now. lol. When me and my mare stops its not together, its messy and theres no control. She swings out, she wont stay with me and I feel like I have no control. How can I fix this. Also when I say whoa, should I stop right at that moment when I say it or the next step. Thanks One more thing how can I get her to back faster, I slap her chest and she doesn't care.
I'm 15 and i wanna do showmanship with my moms quater horse gelding he's a three year old he's very shy but easy to love i'm hoping he'll be ok to show and wont get to nervous in the ring. Any suggestions or thoughts that might help?
@countrygirl9519 hi im from australia and i have a 3yo and she is one of the best showmanshipers out there got 2nd at nationals......before you do showmanship do a couple of halter classes so he learns to trot beside you and stand square :)
I noticed his name was Chip I own an Appaloosa his name is Hot Chocolate Lover I know some of the Chip and Chocolate baby's have lots of Quarter Horse in them!!
beauitful outfit!!! The purple just sticks out very nicely!! Your hand the isn't used tends to move some when you are jogging. You also tend to turn your shoulders. Your turns are breath taking!!! Your backs are awesome!! You did a very good job!!!!!

I really like the pattern. I am learning Showmanship so I watch a lot of this stuff and try to practice as much as I can. I really really like this pattern!
